Oh wow…~ what a unique and original premise of having the totally cool girl be an absolute waste of oxygen at home~ …
Sigh, here we go again.
I don’t even know where to start the review off because it does so many things wrong. It’s like the author just wanted to write wish-fulfillment that didn’t require the writing for wish-fulfillment, which is impressive in itself. Come on, at least write a lazy or sloppy story or backstory before having the heroine fall head over heels for the average male lead.
Speaking of the MC, holy sh*t do I want to blow my brains out
...
with how self-insert and cringy he is. …he literally patted her head their “first” encounter. But wait, it gets so much worse. This is the thing that makes her personality flip 180 and drop her guard completely around the MC. Nope, not him being kind and saving her or her getting used to him for 20 chapters — you know, the thing called plot development — she falls in love with him because of a fucking head pat.
But hey, let’s even ignore that. So what if the reason for love is completely bogus, at least their cute interactions are good, right…? Nope. I skimmed through 5 chapters so you don’t have to, and let me just tell you — it’s the same dumb interactions over and over again. And I can’t help but be more disappointed (angered?) due to how much it screams wish-fulfillment slop.
My standards for romcoms are bad, but if I even slightly enjoyed this, then I probably should retire outright. You want a “cleaning/lazy girl” manga? Save your cringe and go read something else.
