I’ve now seen it all with manga — a manga about searching for f*cking whiskey. That’s the main drive of the mc, and it’s equally hilarious and genius. I’m not eben an alcoholic, and I love every second of this story.

Like every other ugly/orc mc stories, the story follows some rather predictable or cliche developments, but it’s somehow charming due to the well-written introduction and the god-tier art.

Seriously, the food should NOT be looking this good. Putting aside the fact that the food looks even better than cooking mangas, the art really adds so much to the story or characters — when a scene ... is supposed to be portrayed as hectic, emotional, or funny, all of is there and more.

Right behind the art, the mc and fmc have quite literally some of the best personalities I’ve read, and their chemistry/banter is better than most romance mangas out these days.

There’s virtually no reason to hate this manga unless you’re “orcist.” Is that even a word? Probably not, but I love the orc/inhuman mc trope, and I love it even more when the fmc is even more unhinged than the mc.
