I’m not even going to lie, this manga is unfortunately peak. I literally walked into this manga with the mindset of “if any singular thing is wrong or poorly-written,” then imma drop it faster than I got dropped as a baby. Unfortunately or fortunately, this author is literally a God among mere children when it comes to writing a romance, let alone age-gap manga.
The plot is so ridiculously well-written it should be a joke. There’s so much fluff, wholesomeness, and cuteness, but there’s also the necessary drama or spice in the plot to keep it entertaining and

much deeper than your average fluff manga. However, there’s also not too much where the story becomes pure suffering or a forced layed-out sequence that is bs’ed. Every plot point has reason to the characters, and it’s all interesting to read.
I’m not even kidding, the plot has got me so hooked on the characters that I’ve been reading the .5 chapters. I literally never read .5 chapters because it’s unnecessary filler that an author adds in to keep their readers preoccupied, but the .5 chapters in this manga add so much depth to the characters, and it does it in an interesting, cute format.
The characters. Oh God, the characters. The fmc is dangerously cute and well-written, as she isn’t some mastermind, but she also isn’t some oblivious baboon, which makes for some real, down-to-earth interactions and thoughts while also maintaining such a lovable, cute character.
You’d think the mc would be some brain-dead, average mc, but he’s so much more than that. I won’t spoil anything, as chapter 13 may arguably be one of the best romance manga chapters I’ve read in a long, long time, but it adds so much to his character, explaining his motives and self-image. He also isn’t a self-deprecating mess too, which is really refreshing.
The review is getting long, but all the side characters are top-notch too, as most of them act and reason like adults, and they add so much self-awareness or comedy into the story.
Ah f*ck, I forgot to talk about the comedy. The comedy is honestly amazing because of the fmc and mc dynamic, especially with all the fmc’s actions.
Oh, and before I forget, the art is so pleasing to the eye. It’s nothing generic like an average romcom manga, but it’s also nothing absurd and wacky where it’s overwhelmingly distracting. It’s unique and charming in its own way, especially when it comes to the characters’ eyes.
I’ve used the word cute around like 50 times by now, but there’s just no other way to describe the characters or this manga. This is my gold, but it might also be the thing that gets me locked up. Ah, whatever. It’s worth it. I’ll die on this hill, and you should join me because this is unfortunately… peak.
