Synopsis

Satoko, the eldest daughter of the honorable Kirigaya family, has received many marriage proposals from men captivated by her beauty and grace. However, she has turned them all down due to her secret heart defect. Despite her condition, Satoko is still willing to find a husband to ease her beloved father's concerns.

While on a stroll, Satoko is kidnapped by a group of mercenaries, one of them being Shinpei Gotou—a legendary assassin tasked with executing her. Satoko tries to bribe Gotou into freeing her, but it proves unsuccessful. Out of options, Satoko makes a desperate gamble: under the pretense of love at first sight, she asks him to marry her.

Unexpectedly, Gotou takes the bait and vows to protect her. As the couple escapes to freedom, Satoko struggles to keep up the ruse and make sense of the mysterious man she has eloped with.

so the story is about this pitiful girl from noble descent and this psycho guy with no whereabouts !! but - hold on !! our girl doesn't take no shit, she ain't no damsel in distress !!! she is aware of her weakness but she also knows her strength and she is smart, pragmatic and holds her ground. she is stuck in this difficult dilemma but she doesn't act like she can't do no shit.

La única razón por la que me gustaría seguir con la historia es por un personaje en específico, si dependiera del resto, la hubiera dejado hace rato.

The premise is basically a girl who is kidnapped by a psychopath who falls in love with her (the guy is everything that is bad in this world, the only good thing is his appearance, but still it is not the most attractive of the manga personally speaking, it has a rather cliché design).

Started out as such a beautifully made, creative and suspenseful story of a nobleman's daughter with a terminal illness and her story after an assassin comes into her life.

Art is incredible. Storyline is incredible... for a while.

Drawn out, unnecessary drama that just drags on the story for longer than it needed to. Author could've gone more into depth with existing storylines instead of starting random new things for 10 chapters that add maybe an ounce of context into anything.

MC goes from confident firecracker to uninteresting out of nowhere.
