Hapi Mari: Happy Marriage!?

They both have the employee-employer relationship. In both the characters are similar - naive woman and a womanizer. In both they are trying to keep their relationship secret. And they have a reaaaally similar feeling. Also the art is similar, but they are both josei, so that should be understandable.

Since MS has vampires/supernatural you might not like it, but I still think (as a seinen/mature reader) it is better, more real josei than Hapi Mari. Hapi Mari has more....shoujo vibe.

Boss & subordinate. Lovestory, adult elements, love-hate-relatonship, starting by having the protagonists have to deal with each other. MS has natural element with vampires in it - but it is still pretty realistic. (And finished!*yay*) Whereas HM follows the protagonists a bit longer and has some other twists in it. Somehow similar art style.

Both of the main heroine is a working lady who has relationships with the boss of their company. They both have secret relationships that they cannot tell others. Both couples don't admit their feelings for a while.

Both stories are frustrating, dragged-out love stories that have a lot of similarities:
- They have extremely similar leads: a naive, lovestruck, crybaby heroine and a cold, egotistic, semi-mysogynistic hero.
- They both start off in an office setting with an employer-employee relationship between the hero and heroine.
- The heroine starts off working in the hero's company, but later transfers to another workplace due to certain circumstances.
- The heroine falls in love first and consequently has her feelings played around with by the hero for far too long before any actual progress happens. 
- The premise of the leads' relationship is an unusual one (a human-vampire work relationship in MS and a forced husband-wife relationship in HM) and must be kept a secret.
- Both series contain a lot of smut scenes. 
- Both series' plots involve a form of politics later on in the series (cultural politics in MS, family politics in HM), but the story mostly focuses on the heroine's obsession with the hero. 
- They both feature a very similar rival for the affections of the hero.
- There's a very similar feeling to both series. 
- The two series' art resemble each other a bit (especially the hero's design).  read more

Both girls (Kotoko in Itazura na Kiss & Chiwa in Hapi Mari) aren't very smart, tend to cry a lot, and act clumsy. Both guys (Irie in Itazura na Kiss & Hokuto in Hapi mari) are important to a company and act all cocky/rude against the girl, and in both stories the girl tries to make the guy love her.

The relationships of the characters in these josies are similar in the way they treat each other and ideas about marriage are a major theme.   The couples start out where they don't like each other completely and tease each other.    The couple in Hapi Mari have an arranged marriage, while the female lead in Totsuzen has her goal to get married before she meets the guy.    They feature a career girl paired with a successful guy.   The female leads are both in their twenties but  have somewhat different personalities, with the girl in Totsuzen being more outspoken. they are both about married couples. only Darling wa Namamono ni Tsuki  is ridicoulousy silly and hilarious while hapi mari is more serious and romantic. both are very good mangas, i highly recommend  both<3

Very similar concept overall, where a poor girl works under a rich guy and they fall in love. Both male leads and female leads are very similar and they all have great chemistry together.

Both Hapi Mari and Black Bird have a female protagonist that is ''hard-to-get''. Both of the male protagonists want to be sexual active with the female, but they aren't so easy as they seem and give a fight.
While Black Bird is fantasy and more dramatic; Hapi mari is more sweet and mature.

both involves the hero saving the heroine from financial situation by marrying her without love.basically both are about contract marriage.its just Hapi Mari is set in the modern era unlike Hadashi de bara wo fume.none the less i recommend bout mangas since i enjoy the promising love plot..

Both by the same author so the art is very similar; the main characters look almost identical. Though Dear Brother only has one chapter out so far, the stories are very different but if you liked Hapi Mari you will like Dear Brother! (Sidenote: They are both Josei romances)

It have similar teme. Both girls are from poor family, and both guys are from wealthy familys. Love comes after knowing each other. 
Difference between these mangas are sexual urges that in Hapi Mari are presented openly. And in Hapi Mari the couple have married right away, while in Propose no Okite they at least had time before happy ending :D

- the female lead stuck in unwanted relationship with the male lead, but slowly love the male lead

different:
- in onegai sore wo yamenaide, the male lead have a little interest toward the female lead in the beginning, while in hapi mari, the male lead have almost no interest toward the female lead
- male lead in onegai sore wo yamenaide is more jerk

A naive girl/woman meets a cool, high class men that is interested in her. For some reason... The problems, solutions, comedy relief moments follow without delay and they are both quite enjoyable. Since K/H is a shoujo and HM is a josei with strong shoujo affinity - well you can read both ^^

In both mangas, the characters are not sure about the real feelings about their partners, in fact, they take a while to realize that they are in love.  The difference is that in Hapi Mari, the main character is "forced" to get married due a circumstance and in Koi wo Oshiete the marriage is  seen as a consequence of  their love.

Both mangas are about couples forced in a marriage that hate eachother at first but as they spend more time with one another they fall in love. Both endure many obstacles.
Reimei no Acarna is more fantasy while Hapi Mari is more realistic/slice of life.

I enjoyed reading these two immensly, definetly recommend it!

Despite their different premises, Hapi Mari and Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji share several similar traits in their storytelling. The main female protagonist aren't very special and in the beginning lacks confidence. Their meeting with the main male protagonist changes their life drastically though as they develop a deeper relationships. Throughout their story, the duo encounters various obstacles ranging from love rivals to relationship conflicts. However, there is a strong bond between the two main leads that becomes more and more evident as the story progresses.

Both protagonists are office ladies who are navigating their first real relationship with their bosses.  Chouko and Chiwa are both virgins and come from former noble families who are now broke and somehwat disgraced.  They also both have some former master/servant tie to their love interests although in Hapi Mari, this is not as large a part of the story as it is in Chou Yo Hana Yo.
