Out of so many romance mangas I have read, these one is the BEST. At first I thought it is a boring manga to read because the story was set on historical times, but after reading the first chaper, OH MY GOD! THESE MANGA IS WAY TOO BETTER TO READ. I CAN'T EVEN LEAVE MY PHONE FOR A SECOND WITHOUT READING THESE MANGA.

Such a brilliant author for having these manga. So, guys If you want to read historical romance which was set in historical times where Gods and humans exist and has supernatural power and very pretty characters ,then, I truely recommended it to ... you. Promise, you'll not regret reading these manga.

The Bride of the Water God focuses on more style than substance and the protagonist isn't very life-like. Focuses on too much conflict and political like struggles which I love, but they make it very redundant and repetitive. Not enough emphasis on the main characters and needs a theme, I enjoyed it to a degree, but it was short-lived as this manga is boring and I couldn't care about the characters. The relationship between characters in this manga is very shallow and the communication between them is very boring. The idea of a person being offered to a God isn't very original, but could have ... been much better executed. Parts of this manga was enjoyable, but the more you read it the worse it gets. Overall it was a below average story, characters, and plot, but the art is pretty good.

I tried , really , I did. But this manhwa is just insolently dreadful .

Apart from the artwork , which is unique and too beautiful to stand , to be honest , so beautiful that's repetitive and boring.
But alright , let's say the artwork is the strongest point. And it's the only one , I promise.

No room for character development. Just a repetition after a repetition , a shallow inception of absurd scenes that sometimes are so fast that you don't quite get what's going on.

The way the story goes , you absolutely don't feel anything for the characters , ... no connection , no sympathy , no pain , no anger , no nothing as it lacks character and it's just the same old image , the same old theme with small alterations. And this GOES ON and on and on with no point. None at all! And don't even get me started with the sexual assault vibe that ricks. It should have just ended earlier and live in history as a really bad manhwa with inexcusable good reviews. But no , it must torment humankind forever as the author seems to think she invented fire or something and can't stop.

For conclusion I will say this : 'dis manhwa so bad , I put a bet with myself to read it all , just to see how much I will stand. (Can't help with the masochistic side of me , you see.) And really, I feel bad for writing such a rude review. But I feel that the author is the rudest one here.
