A fanservice filled manga about a man trying to live an easier life the second time around, but being dragged into all sorts of hi-jinks due to his good nature, mixed with his values and knowledge from modern day Japan.
Now as other reviewers have noted, slavery is a thing in this world, but I disagree with their characterization of our protagonist. Itsuki never seeks to own slaves, and while at first I too believed the enslavement of the first two women was contrived and a little nonsensical, that may be a problem with the adaption from novel to manga, the translation to English, or some

combination of the two, along with a failure to originally comprehend on my part. The basic plot is, Itsuki goes to thew Adventurers' Guild to sell potions he made working at the Alchemists' Guild. The adventurers are wearying of him as they believe he works for the Pharmacists' Guild whom they have had issues with. As a result they assault him and destroy his potions. His guild master shows up and gets into a trade dispute over the incident, in the end demanding 10 Million "Nohl" (the in-universe currency, I feel like a conversion rate was given, but I didn't see anything with a quick look through the books I have, so I may be thinking of some other manga I reading). The Adventurers' Guild can't afford that, so one of it's prominent members, Aina, offers to sell herself into slavery. This is where I got confused, because she sells herself to Itsuki, and I didn't see how that helped the Alchemists' Guild. However, they do explain that indentured servitude exists, and it later becomes clear that that's the path she takes. So she works for him, while earning the money to buy back her freedom, which covers the debt.
Itsuki does not see women as property, playthings, nor objects. Yes he has fantasies, but he tries to dissuade Aina from selling herself in the first place, and he never takes advantage of the fact that he could legally act on those thoughts. Later when he has a woman that is throwing herself at him, he can't bring himself to reciprocate precisely because he is worried that she's only doing it because he owns her. Every time Itsuki gains a slave, it is because it's the only action he can take within the laws of the world he is in, in order to help her. He buys a noble woman to save her from being sold to a man she has not desire to belong to. He buys a warrior because otherwise she would be turned into a criminal slave (the lowest rung in this world) where she would be subjected to very vile ordeals.
