Synopsis

An adventure in another world with cute girls by your side and video game-like powers—sounds like an anime fan's dream, right? Not so for melancholic author Osamu Dazai, who would quite literally prefer to drop dead. Video games haven't even been invented yet when he gets yanked into another world in 1948. Really, all the fantastical adventure he keeps running into is just getting in the way of his poetic dream of finding the perfect place to die. But no matter how much he risks his hide, everything seems to keep turning out okay. Follow a miserable hero like no other in this cheerfully bleak isekai comedy!

A successful attempt in coming across a unique isekai. [spoilers from the first chapter]

Allow me to explain,

MC's Personality :
He's been considered a failure. 'Disqualification' is the word. Now he isn't going to take up rapid motivation after getting isekai'd into a fantasy world. However, he does find a reason to live. His motive is to commit double suicide with his lover, whom he suspects of getting teleported to the same world as well. There are negative vibes and he remains unfazed. To be honest, I've just been binge reading the countless generic isekais that are out there- so when I jumped into Isekai Shikkaku, I really was not expecting much, other than your typical isekai with a gimmick thrown in.

And indeed while this story does start out like many others- it starts to show its own unique style later on, not really focusing the actual fight scenes or the level progression aspects of Isekai but instead on the "stories" of characters in this world and in some cases how they may continue to unfold, all the while being careful not to take itself too seriously. ...

The first book or first anything should hook you and pull you into wanting more but this one has no such thing thanks to its dialogue, story and character personalities, of which non of these are very thought out or utilized correctly and personally I dont think it should have ever been a comedy fantasy story combination with the subject that the creator used since it starts with a serious depression and suiside tone which is a dark topic to be making a manga about in the first place which is not the main problem in the very least its actually how lightly the creator ...
