Spidersekai is a compelling paragon of story progression and character traits, in not just the isekai genre but entire fiction. What Okina Baba has given to us is a web woven by multiple spiders, all of whom are characters in the story. The web gets bigger with time, and complex as the lives of these characters get intertwined.
What makes this work stand out?
đź•· After an entire class gets reincarnated in a fantasy world, the classmates don't stand on the same side. My favorite aspect from Kumo Desu, it clears the delusion of being classmates, that is, being classmates does not equal to being friends.
...
On the other hand, neither does this mean being enemies. Self-preservation, yourself before the other.
đź•· Factions, this element is played perfectly by the author. Humans, elves, demons, monsters... it all flares up the world building. Betrayals and schemes, cooperation and vengeance. Along with the students, their homeroom teacher gets reincarnated as well. She is portrayed as someone who tries to gather and protect them, doing anything to avoid watching them fight each other.
đź•· Main Character. Shiraori definitely has the hots for me to rank her high on her design. That's not it, the beginning arcs are entertained by the lively dialogue between Kumoko and herself. I adore her. She will remain somewhat mysterious as the books loosen up the focus on her.
The author's literature is flawless, and official translations are worth spending for. Tsukasa Kiryuu's colorful art adds flavor to the read. Character designs and lore remain two of the finest elements. Although the world building isn't the most unique I enjoy the geographical relationships between various societies.
The spidersekai fanbase is a good commmunity.

''Witches should not be used as consumables, but as the engine to stimulate the development of civilization.''
I don't consider anything I mention in this review a spoiler apart from the direction of the story. That aside, this is the longest manga/manhua I have read up to and it was indisputably worth the binge.
'Release That Witch' or 'Fangkai Nage Nuwu' (translating to 'Let go of that witch' from Chinese) is an ongoing manhua adaptation of the Web Novel version of the same name. The WN is completed with 1498 chapters and still remains a submarine Chinese fable. It was announced to get an anime project,
...
for which I am hyped for.
The story begins with a well-educated engineer waking up in the body of the third prince of the royal family. He obtains the memories of the prince Roland Wimbledon but considers himself to be the former.
World building;
A typical medieval setting without magic with the monarchs in control. Existence of the Church is an immense element. More importantly, witches prevail in this world as you can make out from the title. Their presence is the core motive behind the progress of this story. The witches are the sole users of magic and are hunted down by the Church and the monarchs. Under the influence of the Church, the public is set to believe that witches are truly evil and have to be eliminated. The king of the Greycastle has launched a rivalry between his five children and divided the territories among them in order to decide the next Crown. Roland being the youngest son with a doubtful reputation gets an isolated territory along the border. This is where the politics kicks in. The ultimate human challenge is the goal of defeating the 'demons' in near future.
Main character;
One of the best built characters I have come across. His strength is limited to knowledge, in which he is unrivalled in the other world. Unlike the Realist Hero where the mc resolves to boring dialogues, Roland is an interesting man. One aspect which I adore is his boldness and an unshakeable mindset. It's thanks to him the manhua is quite interesting throughout each arc. He is an expert in almost all fields of science.
Direction of the story;
If you have made up your mind to consider this manhua then I feel you needn't read any more. Going ahead, the main character (the new Roland Wimbledon) will aim to protect and cooperate with the witches to kick off the Industrial Revolution in this world. Each witch has a unique skill or power which he makes use of admirably. Sooner or later he is to get involved with politics of his siblings and the war with the church. He aims to refine the crude and conservative thinking of the citizens and upgrade their lifestyle. There are a lot of unique elements present in the story.
Miscellaneous;
You might consider this a progressive harem since the mc surrounds himself with witches.
The romance ultimately makes it livelier.
The war arcs are well written.
Each 'invention' by Roland is surprising.

Unlike Dr. Stone: Ryuusui, a successful 50+ minutes special released earlier this year, this fails to drive attention to its sequel.
''The Shining Will of The Sea'' is one of "The Seven Great Legends of Elysen", which Hajime and his gang experience in this special. The entirety of this episode/s is a battle scene. I don't find this necessary to watch for the continuation of the story and it doesn't add up to the plot. Rather, it introduces new characters which may appear in future of Hajime's journey.
The quality is similar to the 2nd season of Arifureta, CGI dominating battle scenes and bright art. Don't

have any complains with this aspect. The studios (asread. and MOTHER) are doing a good job with consistency in the quality. Referring to the 1st season (which does not exist :d), the fans are blessed with potential sequels.
The dialogues are mainly Hajime's harem quarreling among themselves, making it no different than a generic special episode. The conversation follows Myu treating Hajime as a father and monopolizing him with her mom. XD. I'm no fan of a harem dominating plot either, and this special contains fanservice (not in terms of visuals).
I don't really have much to say about this, but I suggest watching since it wouldn't consume a great deal of time.

A successful attempt in coming across a unique isekai. [spoilers from the first chapter]
Allow me to explain,
MC's Personality :
He's been considered a failure. 'Disqualification' is the word. Now he isn't going to take up rapid motivation after getting isekai'd into a fantasy world. However, he does find a reason to live. His motive is to commit double suicide with his lover, whom he suspects of getting teleported to the same world as well. There are negative vibes and he remains unfazed. Dazai is non-serious throughout the journey, at least how far i have read. I love the lightheartedness that comes along with sweet humor.
...
Plot?
It begins with the mc wanting to commit double suicide with his disciple-lover. After getting summoned as a hero, he leaves the summoner and attempts to kill himself multiple times. However, the story contains this 'unable to suicide' premise, where he fails to take his life in the beginning. A 'poison' in his body will harm whoever tries to attack him. Again, unique element and i'm enjoying this! Then there is the presence of multiple other heroes (other-worlders) who play the role of antagonists.
Side characters are cute, their impact is not very huge on the main character and add to the humor. These are generally fantasied or straight up generic. (Elf, Cat-girl, Demi-humans) Character designs are decent, and art of the manga is a plus point.
'The choice of how i should live my life, was not something I ever left to others.'
^ A really positive quote and makes up the main character's attributes. Most of his development has come from his previous life.
Also note, this is 1948, he probably is unaware of existence of magical creatures like elves. This provides a clean contrast into the perspective the main character sees the new world. There are a lot of historical/lifestyle references from the early 20th century era.
Humor is sweet and lighthearted, this is maintained really well throughout the manga. The confidence of the main character comes from being unfazed and reacts instantly in a surprising manner.
P.S.
-"Shinjuu" means the occasion when two-lovers try to commit double suicide in order to show their unchanging love for each other.
-June 13, 1948 is the actual date of Osamu Dazai's dea
