Spoilers for the original Citrus manga.
So since there are no reviews yet, I thought I'd share my thoughts.
Citrus+ is the continuation of Citrus, the story takes place after Yuzu and Mei's relationship is recognized by their surroundings but before Yuzu and Mei's wedding. At the time of writing this review 6 chapters are out, despite the manga was planned on being released monthly in Comic Yuri Hime since December 2018, chapter 7 won't be out till September 2019.

I thought Citrus was over.
I was wrong. Citrus+ pretty much continues from where the happy ending left off. And that's about it. To be fair, I understand the feeling of "I want more! I want more!" but if the ending's already perfect and time passes. The less you yearn for more. Oh, trust me. That's just how it works for everyone. Don't deny it. I like how Citrus is trying to exploit the "I want more!" factor by giving us Citrus+. But in my opinion. I have already lost interest in Citrus after watching the anime and reading the manga. I'm already over with it. ...

spoiler for the Citrus Manga-
~ Its progresses where our main citrus manga left not after the marriage but after yuzu proposed Mei. alright they are back in being in the same house same room and cute stories follows. i will recommend this manga ONLY to the ones who enjoyed citrus not only the kisses and hugs BUT the drama too because till now (ch-09) we haven't got any 'golden moments' but the story is rather satisfying Art - 10/10 artwork is pretty similar to the main manga so you can guess xD Character - 9/10 AND HERE WE PRESENT THE BEST GIRL AWARD TO - HURUMIN!! lol character development is ...

So i honestly just wanna dump my feelings for this manga, and why i’m really happy about how it’s gotten to the point it has, and it’s ups and downs i guess
so we know this just continues on from the proposal, and honestly it’s an all around 10/10 for me. i’ve loved citrus ever since i saw the anime in 2018, and i don’t plan on stoppin really story: 8/10 if your looking for some of the drama and stuff that went on in the og citrus your not really getting much of that. it’s kinda more about “expanding the relationship”. personally idgaf and enjoy this ...

Okay, I'd like to clear up some things.
A common misconception I've noticed from people who read this manga is that it's lacking from what the initial Citrus had, and that is undeniable. However I want you to be aware that this isn't a brand-new manga or anything like that, this is just a flat-out continuation of the story. Now when I mention flat-out continuation it's nothing less of that. No new CRAZY arcs, or anything of the sort. This is just solely for people who are interested in the life of Mei and Yuzu and possibly other characters after the events of the initial series. ...

In terms of the plot, I'm happy the series is continued. I want to see more of the two characters and their growth.
The art is good. It's simple. It's well drawn. Not much to talk about here. Characters and enjoyment are sort of interwoven, because you're only going to enjoy this if the relationship is going somewhere. Since this is a continuation from the manga, it's pretty much the same, but it feels just as slow as the other. That's why it's only a 7. I know it's supposed to be a cute love story, but damn, can it get sexual? I know that sounds like ...

This is exactly what the original citrus manga needed.
It has a lot of character developments, and it is fixing the rushed ending of the original citrus manga and the story in my opinion is very satisfying. The artwork is perfect as always but it has made me feel uncomfortable at some pages (I`m not sure why) putting that aside it has a very pretty style to it. And for character developments... I think it is not the right time to judge but from what I have seen the characters has became more lovable and interesting. but like I said it is not the time to judge anything but ... |
