Mixed Feelings
So the mangaka claims that this is a story all about *friendships* as in, platonic relationships. Which is fair, because there are platonic relationships in the manga. And I'm all for healthy platonic relationships, whether they are between a male or a female, or a male and another male, or a female and another female.

But that's the thing. The two protagonists' relationship is not a healthy platonic relationship. They grow a dependence on each other, so much so that when they stop talking to each other, they get extremely depressed.

At this point in the manga, I thought, "Wow, this is getting really serious!" The two ...

I found this story by chance when I was looking at a Yuri Manga's recommendation list. I'm kind of sad I wouldn't have found this otherwise.

To put it simply. This is probably my favorite Slice of Life Yuri manga I've read. Most of the time, Slice of Life Yuri will always be badly paced and boring.

But this story avoids this problem by having nice characters, Storytelling and Pacing.

I love how the story managed to portray how alone the girls feel at the start. It didn't come across as fake or forced and I actually ended up feeling empathy for them.

I'm also a fan ...

“I’m okay. I’ll be all right by myself.” - Konatsu Amano

Loneliness, what is it even about? How does it feel to be special to someone? Nettaigyo wa Yuki ni Kogareru contains those answers.

The story starts off calm and fresh, beginning with Konatsu alone moving to Nagahama, a seaside town located in the Ehime prefecture. Transferring to Nanahama High School, Konatsu meets Koyuki, a 2nd-year student and a president of the Aquarium club, then their life begins to change forever.

The story is mainly about the junior-senior relationship between Konatsu and Koyuki. Having them together makes the story great, separating one of them apart makes the story ...

Nettaigyo wa Yuki ni Kogareru is a tender story about growing up and accepting oneself, both the good and the bad. As a romance, it relies more on implied feelings but as a human drama it is quite open in its primary theme, that being loneliness and how it affects people differently. I believe it is successful in displaying realistic characters with relatable problems and improves in quality as it goes along. I recommend this manga.

Story: 8/10
The story isn't very attention-grabbing at the start with slower pacing of events and no big moments, but like the characters it improves steadily as it goes on, becoming ...

Generally I haven't read too many mangas, this is my first review and I know anime is not the same thing..

BUT
For now imo this is one of the best stories of yuri genre.
Yes, the main plot is not most original, but art, characters and just concept make it very good and interesting book c:

Sometimes spaces in the backgrounds are empty, but I don't think it's something bad, it also makes the atmosphere and yee.. I actually love everything what autor decided to do. There's nothing to criticize for now

Now i have 3rd volume in my hands (cuz only 3 are in my country int ...

First review for a Manga but i felt i needed to as it was one that i had high hopes for...

i just finished reading this and saw that its not actually shoujo ai because the author said its not shoujo ai even tho its that on mal. (And i agree it should be a shoujo ai!)

I honestly did have high hopes for this series and i felt like the author had led us on at the very beginning with these girls that felt like they could have something more. (I mean i never act that flustered round a 'friend') i loved the beginning how ...

I love how this manga series shows how much a person can mean to you, even after meeting for the first time and not knowing anything about each other. Even after having only talked once, or perhaps not even that much, maybe your eyes only have met, and now you want to know everything about that person.
Not only that, it shows that this feeling often is mutual. Yet we don’t talk about it because society raised us to think that talking about our deep feelings is embarrassing and selfish and kinda creepy. Which is sad honestly.
Looking back, what do you think how many deep ...

I admit, it is a cute story about two school girls who are pretty the same in terms of feeling lonely at times due to them going on to adulthood . They both share the same love for exotic fish and join a aquarium club together. I was rather disappointed that I didn’t get the Yuri vibes as it needed to have because the story would have been far more interesting involving the girls feeling passionate for each other (yes I am a picky hooligan who reads too much romance shenanigans). I also didn’t like the fact that the art dipped towards the end like ...

Before I start the review, I want to preface that this series isn’t really Yuri, it’s Yuri Bait. Most Yuri elements of the story disappear after around volume 3. If you despise Yuri Bait or avoid Queer Baiting media in general, I would avoid this manga. That being said, if you can overlook this flaw there is a story that is absolutely worth your time here. On with the review!

Nettaigyo wa Yuki ni Kogareru was worth every second I put into reading it. For a manga so short, it conveys so much emotion and so much growth, while also giving me a story I can ...
