NGNL: Practical War Game is - compared to other NGNL novels - considerably better and easier to understand. It is basically set in the same time as Vol 6 - aka Great War. I must say that even though I absolutely adore the story of Riku and Schuwi, this volume is mainly about characters that were only briefly mentioned in the movie and here they can get a much more place. Specifically, I would emphasize the chapters about Elven and Flügel society.
