I like this manga, it's so simple it works.
Just a regular shy dude who seeks to live a low profile life who encounters an outgoing gyaru type girl.
He shows kindness to the girl which oddly enough she hasn't met someone with those kinds of qualities.
There isn't much to say about 9 translated chapters, they just simply fall for each other naturally.
Sometimes the basic stories in manga work, no need to rely on any over the top stuff.
He learned about love, she accepts there is a healthy man in a world of lust, etc

Isn't it fascinating in a mere 9 chapters there is fast progress? Unlike ... a certain...long running series.

I’m rather disappointed in this manga due to how atrociously bad and awkward the side characters are, but by pure concept alone — the classic gyaru trope — it is still wholesome enough to be enjoyable.

The plot is pretty standard for a typical “gyaru x loser boy” manga, but there have been a few cases of uniqueness with how resistant the main character has been to the fml’s approaches, for better or worse. Following that, a lot of there plot-driving interactions seem uncannily forced by the author in some way, but the outcome of small humor and overall cuteness mostly subsided the flaws.

Though, I ... must say that the side characters are laughably poorly written, and their only purpose is to forcibly develop the fml and mc’s relationship through some of the most awkward and flawed logic as a human being known to man. I’m not going to comment any more on them, but it sort of left a disgusting feeling or weird mood to the manga.

When I first found this manga, I thought it would be the next big hit in the oversaturated market of gyaru mangas with how good the interactions initially seemed form the main cast, but it seems that this has fallen right in the middle of the pack — enjoyable enough to read but nothing crazy.

This manga is barely enjoyable, with the constant reminder that it's just a self insert fantasy for the author, or the author writing a self insert fantasy for the readers.

There are some good parts, which is obviously the pacing of the relationship, in which they start dating and do lots of cute and diabetic stuff, which is nice to watch. It does feel like an actual relationship, not like other manga's, where they might take 50+ chapters to kiss once. The art style is good enough, as to where you can understand what is going on, even though the character designs might be uninteresting. ... If you can turn your brain off and just enjoy, it's a very cute, diabetic manga to easily get washed away by. It might sound good so far, but it does have quite a few flaws too.

The MC has quite literally no personality, no background, no characterization, nothing. His whole character is purely created through the FMC, which is an average "gyaru" who is actually just a normal outgoing girl. She influences the MC to actually start existing, since before she influences his character, he quite literally has nothing. No family, no friends, no hobbies, literally nothing. He does get into gaming with the FMC, but he didn't play games before meeting her, so the only actual thing we know about his character is that he watches anime. It's so obviously a self-insert it breaks the immersion whenever you are reminded of it, if you can even immerse yourself with how many times it reminds you that he is just an empty shell.

The pacing might seem good, but it felt extremely forced, with the little sister being some magical wingman that only appeared as a tool for them to get together as fast as possible. The confession is also rushed itself, following right after one of the first outright romantic moments, which would usually make them realise their feelings, not outright confess in the moment. It does subvert expectations, but not really in a great way. Reading it feels very rushed, and ruins the moment a little bit. The MC has a little inner conflict about it, but succumbs to the mangaka's will within one chapter. It was honestly boring that he just accepted that he had a girlfriend, and his character completely shifted towards an average boyfriend, who isn't awkward doing physical stuff with his girlfriend, even though he doesn't have any experience with anyone, male or female. Even though he is literally set-up to be a loner-type guy without any experience at the start of the manga, yet completely changes when the manga needs him to, to add more diabetic moments.

If you want to read a diabetic romance, this is fine. But don't expect any level of immersion or actual care for any of the characters, or any events going on in the story, since it all feels like one massive fan-fiction story. It's as if someone's daydream of a perfect girlfriend appearing to them and falling in love with them for no reason came true, as if it isn't the main concept of the other hundreds of cloned romance manga's nowadays. It is still executed very poorly, with no consistency to any of the characters, except maybe the FMC, who carries the show, like a poster girl.

Overall if you just want to relax and read some diabetes, this is what you want, but it doesn't have anything to offer, other than those cute moments, so if you want an actual good romance, this is unfortunately not it.
