This is the worst isekai manga I have ever read. I'm writing this out of anger.
Do you enjoy stories with no substance, bad characters and tons of genre hopping whiplash? There is no reason for anyone to read this. It should probably not have been serialized.
Story 2/10 - It's your typical isekai dungeon tower harem story, with far less thought put into every aspect. It reads like someone just copied a popular story and filled in blanks with garbage, and followed the garbage to some garbage conclusions. Very often, something is teased in the plot, which is later forgotten or ignored. Sometimes this takes
...
the form of sex scenes; the author will hint that a scene is coming up and then completely skip over it. "Welp, dungeon slashing time!" It's jarring. I feel whiplash. Am I supposed to care at all when I'm baited with one genre and given something totally different in the next breath? Even parts of the story that are supposed to feel rewarding are glossed over, given no substance, and then the protagonist says something dumb like "now let's look forward to this other reward!" instead of enjoying what just happened. All that aside, there were one or two elements which are fairly rare, so it doesn't exactly deserve a 1.
Character 2/10 - It starts off decent. The protagonist who was obsessed with swords gets isekai'd into a world of swords and sorcery, and even though he has almost no experience in real swordfights, he happens to be a badass who shows no mercy. He even has a talking sword waifu to help him make the right moves in battle. Sounds like a decent enough premise, with opportunities for rich characterization. Nope, this guy is a blank slate. No philosophy is discussed: instead, people and things are evil simply because he thinks they're evil, and if there's something evil in the world, it should be killed. I don't even really know which of the women are supposed to become harem members in the future... they're just kinda... there. Or they're swords which we all know will eventually turn into waifus who love their hero MC from the beginning for no reason. The waifus themselves are bland stereotypes, but they aren't full of tropes. 2 max per waifu, then it's on to the next. Backstories aren't even considered most of the time. It's just "sob sob this guy was an asshole" then a few pages later it's resolved. Trash. Garbage.
Art 3/10 - The only thing decent about this is the art. If it was any worse it wouldn't be readable. Let's say the reason this got published was because of the artist. This artist is barely passable, and on top of that it's an ecchi manga. There are some color panels once in a while which are really nice, but aside from that, it's almost as bad as the writing. Basically if you could set a low point for art that you would publish in a manga, this is probably just a little bit above that.
Enjoyment 2/10 - The sex was meh sometimes, that's about it. Don't expect anything spectacular here either though.
Overall 2/10 - Don't waste your time.
I hope these two mangaka are young, because they have a lot of work and training ahead of them to produce anything good.
