| If there’s one thing this show never misses, it’s the female characters man they haven’t fumbled once. First episode in, and she straight-up matrixed those clowns lol. Anyway, it’s mostly just setup here for now. Highlight was the new OP and ED, and yeah that OP is a huge step up from the last one, at least visually. Can’t say much about the song yet though. The ED was fine too, pretty unique. |

| as of episode 14, which is the most recent episode to come out, this anime is fucking fantastic. the worldbuilding feels incredibly natural! instead of the characters explaining the different rules to us in plain english, it takes the time to allow us to draw our own conclusions, and doesn't leave much to ambiguity |

| How does Mori Calliope keep getting roles? 😭 fair enough the visuals are incredible for the 2nd OP but the song stinks, she can’t rap. Still disgusted after last week’s episode, but you couldn’t have had a bigger tonal shift in this one. We got our usual humor and banter, Semiu action and a crazy cliffhanger ending setting up the next arc. I’m so hype to see this play out and find out what the raiders’ motivation is. Black women in anime>>>> Semiu soloing the marauders was so fucking cool. She might not be great against trash beasts, but when it comes to beating peoples’ asses she’s perfect for the job. They really thought they were gonna pull up on cleaner hq and shit would be all sweet lmao. “Child” is the craziest organization name but I’ve heard good things about these new supporting characters so I’m looking forward to seeing them in action in this arc 4D chess from the raiders to leak that info to the marauders knowing they’d run their big ass mouths and that the cleaners would come looking for them at the bar so they could trap them. Raiders’ boss is bold, I like it. Should be a great adversary for Rudo. I swear they better not have hurt amo. |

| Probably my favorite episode so far, it was paced beautifully. We got the introduction of Zodyl and Team child, how playful Seimu can be, and a full on confrontation with the raiders. Guys, I mean this, cour 2 is going to be lit. Get ready. Why they have to make the food look like it really was made in a trash world 😭 Also the new OP animation does a MUCH better job of conveying Gachiakuta's personality. The last one was a little too neutral      |

Need a woman like her who can beat my ass 🤧 Barely an episode to breathe after the Amo stuff before we get thrust right into the next arc. It's gonna be all out Raiders vs Cleaners chaos. Don't really care much for the new OP. I heard that apparently Mori Calliope and the mangaka are fans of each other's work, so if that's true then this a cool opportunity for Mori but yeah, not really feeling the song. |

| OK, shit is getting intense! The start of the episode started where things left off last week with our protags. With their return to their base after encountering the no mans land lady, and getting enough info, and fighting her off, they made a pit stop at the initial stopping point of this show. The hospital with the hospitable old lady, who's name we learn is Alice, Very cute indeed. I did not expect to encounter the characters at that hospital when they went their for a quick look check up. That being said this episode more or less feels like a set up for next weeks BATTLE!! With the plot line being an introduction to the MAIN baddie that the show has been drumming up since... episode 4? 3? i forget. The show shows a normal guy in the pits, enjoying his life, calm restaurant that he's a regular of and that he often goes there to enjoy... and with his perspective he sees our main cast (who are also regulars at this restaurant) with intense look on their eyes, freaking him out resulting in what was throw away moment. But if you look a little closer you will see what a normal person might see when encountering the main cast, who are facing death door step almost EVERY day, having to fight and be on alert almost contently, but this restaurant severs to them as a place of rejuvenation. So, to others who are normal customers, these cast of weirdos are actually borderline insane. who would have guessed? that last bit is me trying to be sarcastic. Anyway, Rating time, Plot: 10/10 why is there an ominous cloud looming over them like that? Theme: 10/10 family? bonding? power mechanics? cant put my finger on it Characters: 10/10 Rudo, you lovable Asocial freak. Ost: 10/10 Afro beats, A vtuber making a RAP OP HOLY YES MORI YES OverALL: 10/10 uh it was great, it felt like this was the calm before the storm, like the ACTUAL STORM thats it from me, hope to read all of your impressions next week! She's awesome.. 💯❤️🔥❤️🔥 Rudo was shocked about the indirect kiss with Riyo 😅🤣❤️❤️ Guita being way too familiar with Rudo without even introducing herself..And they gave a quick recap of their appearance for us few episodes back lol Raiders' boss showing he's the boss by appearing right infront of the cleaners ❤️🔥❤️🔥 Judging from the op, Amo is still alive. That's something to be happy about. So excited for this arc.. |

| So Seimiu's power allows her not just to see things others can't, but they almost have a foresight ability, allowing her to dodge accordingly. Makes sense that she isn't able to combat trash beasts if all she can do is punch and kick. Really curious about their introverted guy and his powers. Can he control the whole building? Maybe the entire building is his vital instrument? That's part of the reason why I really like concept behind vital instruments. They can be almost anything. So the OP suggested that Amo is not only alive, but being held captive. The reveal scene in the bar was nicely done. I can appreciate a villain who doesn't continuously hide in the shadows, but instead goes to the front lines himself and confronts the protagonists directly. Seems like the Raider's plan was to isolate the group away from everyone else. The Fantasia girl was super cute, can't wait to see what her vital instrument is. Same with Dear Santa (which is a weird, but funny name). My theory is that the boss is collecting all of the Watchman series items. But what I'm trying to figure out is the connection between him and Rudo. The way that the OP and ED showed them intertwined made me believe there may be something more there. Such as being related, or he knew Rudo as an infant or something. Just a few theories I'm tossing around. Mod Edit: Removed baiting. |

| I was excited to hear Mori Calliope’s OP after hearing that she’d be doing it a couple days ago, and I’m not even a Vtuber enjoyer, I just think it’s cool they get opportunities like this from time to time, and although the first OP is elite, she killed it and the song rocks, same with the sick new visuals, the ED is really cool too. And this episode showed us that Semiu does more than sit behind a desk, she fended off those attackers expertly since her glasses allow her to basically have bullet time, sending that RPG rocket right back at them was pretty cool too. We also got introduced to some new characters, Bro Santa, Dear Santa (weird timing with Sanda airing this season lol), and the kaiju obsessed girl I already forgot the name of, she was cute tho, and I’m interested in seeing what kind of giver powers they have, like will Dear Santa’s be his binky or what lol. The end of the episode was quite the cliffhanger tho with the Raiders making their move by sucking up all of the Cleaners at the bar and spitting them out in a place to duke it out I imagine, not sure if we’re gonna see anyone die here or not but I’m sure it’s gonna be an intense fight with so many givers in the same room. |

| Good episode and a strong start to the second cour. The new OP is hot garbage song wise but the visuals are nice. Huge stepdown from HUGs (deserved better visuals). Great new ending theme |
