| Nothing eventful... terrible if thOAVs are trying to have some grand plot, fine if it's a little story. The first episode fooled me with its visuals, this one was a cold shower: INSERT CAPTURES 3/5 |
| Didn't expect to hear the opening riff of "Spotlight Kid" by Rainbow from that delinquent's boombox xD Nice futuristic design for the city (reminds me of Tezuka's cities for some reason) Why make Zentradi pilot some dumb bugs alongside with fancy-looking mobile suits? :p |
| I swear, after everything I heard about this serie, I was not expecting to watch a beautifuly animated show with lot of cool characters and a story that makes so much sense in the universe of Macross! Hibiki speaking zentradii (like people in our world learn the language of the closest country), Ishtar being afraid by music cause she always lived it like a weapon meant to kill her and her comrades, the technological evolution of the zentradiis, the propaganda, etc etc |
| I thought that soldiers had more important things to think off during wartime than spying on a random couple... Also, they referenced "Roman Holiday", it was unexpected. |
