Haruhi and AIR (the entire Key trilogy really) have such a big impact on most anime that most new people don't know of. A lot of popular anime wouldn't exist without this studio. Chunibyo is also peak romcom, Clannad peak drama

Clannad is definitely my favorite, although Violet Evergarden is a very close second. But frankly, every single anime I've watched that was animated by Kyoto Animations has been absolutely amazing.

Haven’t gotten around to watching a lot of their lineup, but my favorites so far have been Violet Evergarden, K-On!, and A Silent Voice. I also really loved Dragon Maid and Chunibyo, and I’m confident I’ll love a lot more of their works whenever I get around to them.

1. Nichijou

I don't think we'll ever get something like this again

2. Sound! Euphonium (+Liz no Aoi Tori)

Terrific start, but it really suffers from skipping essential characters and their stories

3. Violet Evergarden

The final movie had a plot I wasn't too fond of, but till that it was a great ride. Visually maybe the best thing I have laid eyes upon.

Partly cause of fire but also after Hyouka they decided to choose what manga/Light Novels (mostly from their Light Novel competition) to adapt themselves, most other studios have a committee which chooses what to adapt and funds the anime (why a lot aren't completed adaptations) but they self fund, this also means most of the time they want to complete the adaptations hence focus on sequels
