They actually do exist in the games universe! The locations you see in the anime are taken straight from the game. In the afterlife bar there is a drink dedicated to David. His jacket can be found in game along with Rebecca’s shotgun. You can also see the crews memorial in game. Interesting, I’m gonna give the anime a rewatch when I finish the game. Thank you |

| It's a prequel and it does exist. Some events and characters are mentioned in few notes scattered throughout the game. |

| My friends are huge fans of the game and have told me that there are Easter eggs which very much hint that it is. |
