| I don't understand if people are genuinely enjoying this show or they're just trolling lol. These 2 episodes were, at least for me, very hard to watch, I don't understand why they went to such a cartoon-ish extreme. I've been watching this anime weekly for 10 years now and I feel like I'm too old for this kind of goofy approach. "Peak" of One Piece might be just the most unpleasant episodes of the whole series from my POV. I just can't comprehend how so many people are enjoying it, or are they just biased because they feel they were watching this show for a lifetime and it's just too sad and hard to mentally accept that G5 is too goofy and weird. Overall this is not what I expected to be the peak of an over 1000 episode show. Indeed, the animation, sound, story is amazing, but the goofy G5 is just a lil bit too much for me. |

| I see the vision Oda , I see it. Upon reading it in the manga , although impressed and excited I didn't get the full scope and feel of the "freedom" but here? Yeah it was on full display. I laughed out of pure enjoyment , got hyped all in one and that's basically what makes Luffy great as a character to me , it didn't felt out of place at all. The re-activation of G5 was incredible , my favorite scene in the episode. Can't wait for the ending and how they animate it. |

| gna be honest i think 1072 was also rly overhyped. months and months beforehand ppl were talking ab how it was the most expensive episode of the series (was that even true? lmao) n that it was gna be the best episode of the series fs. definitely a way better episode than 1071 tho especially the action scenes. way easier to follow w rly good direction, n the animation was elite. the one scene where he hits the gear 2 pose is was tuff asf 😮💨 but yea i think a solid 9/10 ep. need to rewatch by myself tho cos watching w mates n talking to them during scenes takes my eyes off the screen so gna have to give it a 2nd watch, same as last ep im prolly gna start reading the manga now cos ive heard that this fight is gna last like 5 more episodes like wtf. as if the fight is that fkn long. it should rly only last for an ep more, mayb 2 MAX |

| The animation was definitely more consistent this episode and when the OVER THE TOP Theme Kicked in I could tell Kaido was in for a beating overall a great episode with all the scenes focused around Gear 5. What I saw in the preview looks like we wont get a lot of Gear 5 but hoping the episode is good no less.  |

| This episode showcased Gear5 in action and it surpassed the previous episode by Kilometers! In my opinion, last episode (the Gear5 reveal) was presented much better in the Manga, however, the actual Gear5 Fight from this Episode was so freaking fun to watch and it was adapted much better than I expected! |

| My only thoughts through the whole chapter were: 1. The animation is amazing, sometimes it even feels like a film. 2. I love Gear 5 so much, Oda might be cuestionable for various reasons but truly he is a genius. 3. I love so much the mugiwaras, they are a crew who only bring hope wherever they go. And a crew able to do something like that is exactly what everyone needs. Just a little bit of hope. Truly one piece may have as many detractors as fans, but it is undeniable the power that this story and the animation holds. A memorable masterpiece with no doubts. This will be one of my favorite chapters, along with some previous ones from this arc. |
