| The issue with @SheyCroix's profile is that the image is in PNG format, while the app was originally developed to support only JPEG images (there were no PNG profile pictures on MAL). Since then, some things has changed on myanimelist, and the app requires a solid rework and probably an open-source release. I can understand why some people may feel frustrated about this. This has been lingering in the back of my mind for quite some time now, but I believe the key problem here is the lack of funding. I have never received a single donation from this project which made me slowly abandon it. I find myself more productive when working on open-source projects in different areas, which is why I never felt a strong urge to continue MALSignature development. I believe a $50 donation would be enough for me to rework the project, fix known bugs, and release the code to the public so that others can contribute too. https://monicz.dev/#support-my-work If you choose to make it happen, I will ensure to credit you appropriately.
