| I loved this show, but the first episode tricked me. the animation in the first episode was absolutely amazing.... and then it was just.... good. not bad, not average, just good. I feel like I have been lied to. if the entire show looked like episode one, it would have been.... well, like a 0.5 or 0.75 worth of score better in my book which isn't a ton but still! really hope season 2 delivers on that |

| Yep, I'd say it's the only thing that holds the adaptation back. They basically look like coloured manga panels which seems kinda unoriginal. The anime should've added actual transitions and movement from one panel to the next, as they are expected to, but they were content with abrupt cuts and 1:1 drawings. It still worked, but the potential was leagues above what was delivered. I switched to the manga, it's a damn good read. |

| the animation is so shit after the first few eps. its lazy and offensive actually. I cant believe anyone can defend that crap. its legit just still frames with monologuing over it and then some insanely shit cgi following it. |

| like i already said before this is a 2 cour show so expect downgrade in animation quality especially if later episodes have more action scenes or sports scenes remember that first few episodes of most anime have great animation quality anyway https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=2051888#msg67727632 only few anime is bless with talented staff each season anyway |

Every anime is not Demon Slayer. if the story is good, people will then follow the anime and buy the manga, which leads to sales. Also I personally feel they kinda rushed to make sure this anime aired along with the World cup for the hype. I mean yeah I know that's why they made the first episode look so good. I'm just angry at the fact that it worked on me. I had not thought of your second point though. that is probably also why aoi ashi looked even worse than this. |
