Also a few other pretty good romcoms. Not to mention that this manga is a parody. Like someone said earlier, it's pretty much the OPM of harem romcoms. A parody that does the tropes better than 99% of other manga in its genre all while taking the piss out of said genre and featuring an MC that is capable of inhuman feats that seem completely normal to him. | this is the only harem i recently enjoyed even though the comedy itself gets stale but that doesn't take away my overall enjoyment. |

| Yea Fruits Basket is a fantastic show, but it's like 60% drama, 30% romance, and 10% comedy. That's not a romcom. Comedy is always the tag that's slapped on shows if they even have an average of one comedic moment per episode. Most shows and movies have comedic moments, but that doesn't make them comedies. For something to be a romcom, romance and comedy should be by far the most prevalent components of the show and at least somewhat balanced. Fruits Basket isn't a romcom because it has some humor much the same way Spy x Family isn't a romcom just because it has some romantic tension. |
