Disregarding viewers from over a hundred countries.. For some reason.. I wonder why that is.. And why would you posit that overseas (or following your argument, specifically 'western') viewers aren't a target audience for the Japanese animation industry..? When in fact, overseas viewers make up more than half of the industry's revenue.. Coupled with the fact that industry people have stated the importance of the overseas market and expressed a strong interest in knowing what overseas viewers like..
