| Grancrest Senki It's like a 50 episodes long anime, that was crammed into 24 episodes. Like it took me 10 episodes to get finally up to speed to understand what the hell the characters were saying. There's like 2-3 battles each episode, and not just lame shounen 1v1s but actual armies clashing and shit. When I say 50 episodes long anime, I mean a fast paced 50 episodes long anime, not a boring one. |

No, it has absolutely nothing to do with Vinland Saga, unless you take offense to armies in a vaguely medieval-based setting. |

| Watch Akudama Drive, It's pretty fast paced with quick action as well. Ends within just 13 episodes. |

Most of what's happening on screen doesn't actually matter, so it's actually progressing the plot at like <25% speed... And that's just season 1, season 2 is worse with all the flashbacks. |

I agree that s2 is not fast-paced but s1 is compared to s2. The first few episodes of s1 were fairly fast-paced because the first arc is very short, and the second one to a similar extent. But yes, the series as a whole tends to be much longer with a slower pacing past the beginning. |
