| Was nice seeing Alice again, but the episode itself was mostly just okay to me. Couldn't tell you why I'm not as hyped about this as the other episodes even if you'd asked, though. Mimori next week is also going to have me zone out because she's incredibly boring. |

| Expelled? Now they've raised the stakes in such a way that the protagonists can't afford to lose which means we know they will win and there won't be any actual tension during the fights. They were doing so well up to this point too, such a shame. |

Haruma is going to be need to dealt with one way or the other, he's the main villain right now. You can't just have your heroes chain lose to him until the end of the story, and we already had a dominant showing out of him by having him actually defeat Light. His defeat isn't any more or less predictable now that the stakes are higher. If there was any time to raise the stakes, it would be at this point. |

| I didn't see the previous series but it seems like we can assume another of the OG cast is gonna come back to battle Itsuki the following week too for his "training arc." I guess they skipped the intro to the battle to keep things to the point but I was excited to see Alice for the first time |
| Look like they brought Alice back again... lol (ppls do be loving this sarcastic loli) Tho... I wonder what the other guys from season 1 is doing now... but I have a feeling they're actually still somewhere in the city, just not making an appearance, since Alice at the beginning mentioned she was "waiting for someone" (which is Mamori) and during the fight she said "you're just like Kai" From the looks of it, they might be having the previous season's ppls do a guidance battle to help the new season ppls get stronger. And it looks like the new MCs will all lose to old MCs even tho the old MCs is obviously weaker cause they no longer have their OP cards. |
