| It felt like half of the chapter was just a recap of the previous one, but when Mami's master plan started to kick in I was definitely impressed at how Machiavellian she truly is. |
| This chapter reminded me the ice witch that is Mami. It’s not like she’s lying entirely, but even tho grandma said she wanted to hear it from Kazuya, Mami took over and started telling the whole truth the way she wants. Aside from that, I’m getting really tired of all this stalling. I’m barely reading to be honest, because most of the texts is Kazuya overthinking and everyone making faces as Mami talks.. and that makes me anxious.. well, my morning is ruined. |

| Kazuya: "Is Mami-chan coming in to help?" NO YOU DIMWIT?! It's not coincidental that she drops her phone while at the same time showing the rental app of Mizuhara Chizurus profile. Kazuya being dense as always, and always panicks the same way like always. With that damn same stupid facial expression of his throughout the whole chapter, and the chapter before, holy cow, I hate him. And Chizuru is STILL bland of a character. This still drags on yet for another chapter, cmon.. the pacing are just so unbearable ..... Also when's the last time we saw Sumi? |

Author keeps stretching the situation to minimize the content per chapter but since it's a point of no return and the thing is interesting... I'll admit it's nice. | What is this... treachery!!! Supposedly, she wanted to create an escape hatch for Chizuru alone and only burn Kazuya down. Now, it looks like she's actually throwing Kazuya a lifeline here...? All while making Chizuru look like some sophisticated conwoman? So, what's next? The Kinoshita family is going to file a lawsuit against her? They actually have a case here, since she went way beyond the rental contract. Even her agency wouldn't back it up. In USD terms, at least $15,000. Kazuya's father did give him a million Yen (about $10,000) and he did go out working in that karaoke just to keep renting her. Also, there's this whole under-the-table element of Kazuya's and Chizuru's relationship. There are grounds here for some massive accusations. Mami is not wrong on that. Though I really don't think there was an element of greed or malice here from Chizuru. More like, she just really didn't think all of these aspects through and has gotten herself into that awful situation. |

| So now the return point for Kazuya to be saved is pretty null. Finally something moving the plot. When an episode is good, we have to recognise it. Still the manga is 4/10, and it better at least end decently |
