I do. I don't really know what to do after. I wish I lived with those characters.

It is for Madoka alone." - Homura

Ah yes I am familiar with the K-ON effect. I still have the movie left at least.

I think bittersweet is a better way to put it if people loved the series. But yeah, that last time that I felt this way was the complement of the Aria series. Before that, I felt anger and loss when AoT manga ended like a garbage.

Personally I think depressed is a very strong word, getting to the point of exaggeration.

It's certainly sad when you finish an anime where you like the characters in it, but we're in the age of information and content overdose, there's a lot of good anime waiting to be watched and enjoyed by the viewer, and you always need to be prepared to go on. After all, every story has an end, regardless of its quality, depending on the work you can finish it with your head held high and with the feeling that the characters fulfilled their journey and that they have already offered everything they had, if not, there are always other stories out there.

Not everything goes the way we want, the real difference is how you will respond in such a situation. In my case I watched so much anime that I don't care anymore.

Not bittersweet for me. I get full on depressed when I finish an anime I love. Like I don't want to get out of bed, I can't eat anything, and I don't feel like reading or watching anything for the next few days.

Certain anime, especially if I’m pretty into it. Usually I go back and watch the ones I really like.

Well, that certainly is extreme since getting depressed over a something you loved. But hey, I guess that's true for some.

Yes it happened already and happens sometimes, but it used to be stronger when I started watching anime.

Yeah. The most recent one was the Aria series. Didn't know that there are 'recent' movies and OVAs bc the series ended 10+ years ago and also there's a movie releasing at the end of the year so for my surprise there's still some material to watch.

Another anime that hit me hard bc of the characters were Hibike Euphonium, Food Wars, K-On and Oregairu, especially the last 3 since it was the ending of the series.
