Interesting... especially that first part; so Ashita no Nadja is a Toei original from 2003 that I have yet to watch and really want to do so, preferably legally, and while most people have never heard of it, the people who have and even saw it seem to sing it praises. AFAIK the only place for it to be released outside of Japan is Canada with some French-Canadian release or something. I wonder how much a cult classic like Nadja would cost to license over here in North America?

well as they say the older the anime show the cheaper the license but the license is hard to get since its hard to look for the original owners or right holders

yep but harder to get the license still because the rights holders or owners of the anime might be missing now

First one is obvious and known to anyone who ever even tried to know something about licensing. It's the same for books, games, VNs, you name it - older entries almost always cost much less than newer.
There is such thing as shit taste. Only idiots think that every "work of art" should have the same value.

Oil and nuclear are civilisation saviours. Deal with it.
