THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ye I mean this is definitely better than the series for me. It was nice to see, I was definitely salty at times, happy. Was a pretty decent movie but I did hope for more. I guess the CG wasn't my favourite, I don't have much of a problem with CG is just the characters don't even look like themselves. some camera angles were good whilst using the CG but yeah. Nice art at times for sure and overall a 6 for me |

More people need to watch this, though I can't say the same for the TV series. This is a rare dissect on gender issue, it's real, it happens for a long time, and there's no easy fix for this yet. I witness the final moment girl can enjoy soccer with boy in the same field, before gender difference take her away from where she should stand. The only way to fix this is to have more people watch women soccer than men soccer, and the men soccer will try to reach a larger audience by finding a way to play together with women. It's sad to see that times and times again women alone has to stand for themselves for a change to happen. You can see that even though there are many boys and men sympathize with Onda, some are trying to help her. Some are actually helping her, but the sustainable change still doesn't happen. And Onda needs to find a way by herself. Let's break from a serious topic and talk about the relationship. It look like Onda has her own reverse harem, which is good! She deserves those boys that inspired by her. But it's too rush to decide that it's a romantic relationship. Boys can't sort their true feeling yet even if they're already teenagers. They're still confused if they just want to be BFF with a girl, idolize a girl, or just want a girl as their sexual experiment. I really hope Onda get a harem ending, who say only boy can get a harem ending, girl can too! And then there's a CG scene, it's not really a weakness, but since there are no other weakness, I've to make CG scene a weakness, otherwise this anime would be a masterpiece, I'm not that easy to give a golden crown to everyone. PS: Thank you for the boy's changing room scene! While Onda is bored looking at her childhood friends' body, I'll never get bored looking at them LOL |

I am FULLY convinced that they expected to use the theater sales for this movie to fund the anime, but since it was delayed due to covid, the anime's budget was cut by a ton. I really like the show, but the animation is lacking. This more than made up for it. I really think that this is a movie you can watch before the series, after the series, or right in the middle (before the current arc). Really fun stuff LindenFilms! Pacing and Namek being so important was kind of odd (since he plays no importance in the series), but I liked the depth this gave to Onda's character. I don't regret not waiting for this though, I think I appreciated it more since I already really like Onda. Was going to give a 9/10, but that awkward CGI bumps in down to an 8/10 for me. May readjust after sleeping on it. |

Ok. If you are a football/soccer fan and a anime fan, you know how hard is animate a football match. If you see others soccer's anime, they are soo ''stop'' and slow, they dont give you the real sensation and emotion of a real soccer match. This move give all of emotion for you. Using CG to animate all passes, all field turn (when the ball is thrown from one side of the field to the other), this movie begin a master piece for football animes. I vibrated like a real football match every move, every Onda's wonderful plays. Stop complaining about the CG, since you have no idea how hard it is to animate a football game :D the CG is better than many other animes that use CG to lower costs, the director managed to use this element very well! |

Exactly, I thought the CG was masterful and for once, you can really feel that the game was going back and forward - the intensity of it never stopped for a lot. Really fucking amazing achievement for a football anime. |

I agree. Obviously, at first sight the CGI was pretty strange but thanks to this, I could receive the sensation of watching a football match. I don't think it was an excellent use of the CGI but as I said, it gave me what I was looking for: make me feel I was watching a real football match. And I'm saying this as a "hater" of LIDENFILMS because I don't like any of their adaptions but I have to give them the credit of making a good job in this movie. |

I still can't believe that people will prefer Blue Lock to this when it inevitably gets animated, sigh Sayonara Football and Watashi no Cramer aren't perfect but they're still very well done. The series has a very limited budget which is a shame but it's not like it's bad because of it and the superior prequel has a good movie adaptation with this |

I really liked the story and the characters. It would've been a great movie but the CGI made me puke, so let's say the movie was ok. Biggest question is: She's portrayed like the Japanese, female Messi in the last game of this movie, but in the anime, we haven't seen anything from her in 10 episodes. They always told us that she's so good and that she can change women's football in Japan, but the anime never showed us how she plays. Imagine the movie wouldn't have been delayed and you saw her playing, you go over to the anime and she does nothing for 10 episodes. That would've been pretty disappointing. So maybe the delay was an advantage because now we know that she's a talent and we can see her destroying the other team in the second half of the match in the anime... Maybe... Hopefully |

Watched this today before watching the episode of the tv series really a good experience to begin with. The quality definitely better than most of the previous episode of the tv series. The usage of the 3d still not my liking on these kind of football match. I still prefer a full 2d. But, they definitely did a pretty good job blending in them with their 2d, at least from my understanding. A lot of improvement happened on their art too, which is a good solution to their bland tv series. The story? Its still captivating me. The back and forth style of plot really my liking, and Nozomi Onda absolutely did a good job as a female mc. Idc if its a cheesy generic schooler drama. The football part just so good that i can't help but forgiving the cringe part of those. At the end, the movie is still good to bring up the hype into the right moment. Its not the best. Still, when you enjoying yourself and had a fun. Its the right time i am enjoying the movie, more than the characters enjoyed it by themself. Got it? Love you, Boss! Poor Junpei boy, totally forgotten xd. |

Man, that was fucking awesome. I am with Sacchan here, I am always captivated by Onda's plays even in the tv series, Onda's fucking awesome. The movie also shows why Onda doesn't like physical players like that girl in the tv series. Namek's out of the blue confession at the end was amazing lmao. They really forgot about Junpei, poor Junpei also got abused by Suo and Soshizaki. Overall really loved the movie and it enhances the tv series, 8.5/10 Seriously almost cried when Onda didn't get chosen to be on the roster, and then Sacchan comforting her, good shit. |

Since this is a movie I was expecting much better production value than the anime and while the production is indeed a bit better than the anime the quality is still below average. Meh not gonna bother watching the entire thing, the manga's enough for me. |

This was what I was hoping for as a fan of football and having played in such inter-school football tournaments. Brought a lot of school memories back. Hope there will be even better footbal anime series in the future. Overall a 6.5 for me. |

Too much hate for the series... too many mistakes and failures, but still has the essence of the manga and its entertaining.. But this movie removed those things and also amplified everything positively... including the animation... As a solo, i would give this movie a 9/10... but compared with other anime movies... an 8/10 is more suitable. The only thing i could say i didnt really liked is the CGI.. cause i dont like it in general... it wasnt bad.. but i prefer series without any of CGI... --- ALSO, This match... was much more entertaining than the Spain & England matches in the Euro2020 (2021) |

If I didn't liked Onda in the series I pretty much hated her here. She trying to stand up for that stupid gender thing was good, but everything else about her is hideous. First, almost the entire movie her play style is keeping the ball to herself and believing she's the next football god, yet nobody ever remark such a huge ego she has. Second, she literally smacked Namek cause he called her "Onda" instead of "boss" and asked her, politely, if she really could play with such a thin body. Imagine how full of yourself you gotta be to believe a friend you didn't see in years has to treat you as if you were his superior. Like, fuck off! Third, she literally kidnapped his brother, undressed him, tied him up, covered his eyes and mouth and then locked him up in a public bathroom just so she could fulfill her whim about playing against Namek. Yeah yeah, you wanna play, but what about Junpei? She literally ruined his first official match because she was a selfish crybaby. The only good thing I can take from the movie is Namek's character, since he really proved to a lot be better than his TV series version. Sadly, at the end of the movie we can see he became the cringey guy that appears in the series. What a shame. |

You know, as someone that's been doing sports and physical training for a long time, I would readily agree that the physical ability gap between the genders is pretty insurmountable on the average. But they decided to press it home to the extent that Onda appears to be made out of glass, which turned the whole thing into a farce. |

For your first point, yes, her playstyle was selfish at the start and she wasn't really wiling to pass. But, she had a whole scene in the middle of the final match, where she realised she shouldn't play football just to "compete with the boys", but just to "have fun." After that point, her plays were much more team-centric and worthy of praise. Second and third points, is up to the viewer and their level of suspension of disbelief in an anime. Everything tends to be a bit exaggerated so show how much she cares about soccer. But I understand where you're coming from. |

Seriously !? We know you as a good writer ( as much as could remember ) and for that we ( or i ) expected a good work from you or at least something not at that bad, but in the end you given us this trash! Honestly nothing to say because the entire Story Structure is so horrible، And difintly what will following the structure will be more worse |
