You can cry and whine all you want, these accounts have been deemed illegitimate by the people that administer MAL, and their votes will not count after the new algorithm update takes place. Ishuzoku has like 51k 10s, not 100k+ Nux apparently has over a million subs? He sent his fanbase here, and he only got 50k(at most) upvotes for the anime, clearly his entire fanbase didn't "flood MAL", otherwise it would have reached #1 easily, as FMAB only has 1mil votes total. That is the other thing, yes, the 10s aren't a natural rating, however, neither are the 1s, look at the other shows however. The percentage of 1s on most shows are around 0.5% of the total vote, it is what, inflated on FMAB to 0.6%, so at most you could say, because of this they dropped FMAB by about 0.2%.....yeah, zero effect. If you look at Ishuzoku however, its 1 votes are 5.5% of the total vote, and apparently(according to what I have read on this forum) that started before Nux sent his fans here. I also took the numbers for Ishuzoku out of curiosity yesterday, the 1 votes only went up about 300 since yesterday, and the 10 vote went up over 2k, yet if you look at percent change, the 10 votes increased by about 5%, and the 1 votes increased by 10%. I would say the 1 votes are doing the most harm right now, though I won't disagree that both need to go. Also, before someone mentions, I don't watch Nux, I didn't see his video on this, I saw people talking about the rating on here elsewhere(and no, they didn't tell me to come here), but obviously I only just made my account here, don't remember if I had an old account, been on and off this site over the years, just not sure if I made an account or not, would have been many years since I used it. Edit: Ok, just looked up "Atomizer", stole my name literately a week before I decided to make an account here, so that answers that, I never made an account here before. |

These kind of actions are not tolerated by MAL community and the mods made this clear in the very first post of this thread. Im still not following, how is a fake score more work for the admins? Have scores ever been relevant in the first place? So you're now trying to change the subject again but it's ok, I'll make it short. It doesn't matter if they are relevant or not, that doesn't give you the right to mess with them. And messing with the ratings has been deemed illegitimate and inexcusable by the mods. It's so easy, just read the first post of this thread, they don't tolerate vote manipulation and vote brigading |
