| Really glad that Honzuki no Gekokujou made it to the top 10 this week. A very underrated series imo that I hardly see anyone talk about. I believe there was also a CD drama announecment made awhile back. |

The LN? maybe on early volume, seeing 12k volume is quite a pain considering it was a popular one. The Manga sells 5-10 times higher than LN, just like Slime Isekai. |

That, according to Oricon, of course. Light novels have a giant online marketing, which Oricon does not cover (That's what I meant by "online presence"). By the way, Tensura just announced 10 million sold copies after just announcing 7 millions. Each volume also costs 1/3 more than the manga ones, so I'd say the difference isn't that big overall. Comparing Tensura and Goblin Slayer is like comparing Harry Potter and Game of Thrones; different reader targets, the former being wider (And the kind that buys physical copies). Also, Goblin Slayer announced the 3 million copies in July, so it was pre-anime and all. It's not like I don't understand what you mean, tho, I just don't think it's that odd. Light Novels are still an odd market where it's hard to say anything. But seeing the rankings and scoring on Amazon and the announced online sales for Danmachi, for example, I'd say that neither Tensura nor Goblin Slayer have much to worry about. |
