| Paranoia Agent (Mousou Dairinin) has a good start. It drops off a bit toward the end but it's still worth a watch. |

| No show has hooked me for a 26 episode trek more masterfully than Kill la Kill https://myanimelist.net/anime/18679/Kill_la_Kill not only that but it's a show that when it seems things are starting to get dull it just hooks you right back in with something else. It's not a perfect show by any means but it is a gripping ride the entire way through and a personal favorite of mine |

| I'd argue that if you like something a bit longer, Yu Yu Hakusho has a great start. Hunter x Hunter 2011 also started strong. So much so that I marathoned the first 36 episodes in a single sitting. Others with a great start are Re:Zero, Baccano, Princess Tutu, Gurren Lagann, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and Angel Beats. Ah! If you want an underappreciated gem, may I recommend Konjiki no Gash Bell. Specifically the Japanese version, as the dub is trash. |
