Half of BorN isn't canon. S4 is about Rias's cousin Sairaorg and the Longinus user who trapped Asia when Diodora kidnapped her. Well skipping is pretty much gonna leave you in the dust at this point because this is the part where DxD hits its stride, and everything leads into each other, like a shounen manga. Great Red sort of does in the climax of S5, but those two are Dragon Ball tier characters, so the author is extremely reserved about using them for fights. Even here in volume 25, they haven't been power crept at all yet, nor has anyone beaten them. So you are reading manga/novel right ? is this new season going to be better than last 3, if adaptation is taken properly or ? |

DxD's LNs have had 2 streaks of amazing novels, that being volumes 9-12, and 20-25. This and the next season cover 9-12, but the animation has to be able to keep up, or it will be a blunder. If it can keep up, it's the moments when DxD transcends being a battle harem. I saw trailer for s4, art changed so much, just hope they won't trash it with a lot more ecchi/harem than they used in other seasons, cause ya know that's what people are looking for today... |

Lets hope with the next season it will get back on track, since before that the studios were doing quite a good job with vol 3-4. |

| Is the translation improving? Honestly since Code-Zero/n0m@n step down on the translation I just cannot get into the new translation. I'm barely able to finish the fight with Rezevim. I really want to read this again but it's really hard to do so. |

The thing with Code-Zero is that he isn't quite as proficient at speaking English since he lives in Japan, so his prose is a bit more sloppy. But conversely, zx is a fluent English speaker translating from the Chinese novels. Have you tried reading the Dx volumes or Slashdog, which were translated by other people? As for zxzxzx I just feel the translation quite forced especially on honorific part. Your opinion may vary though but that's just how I feel. |

| @Jdogla Who say I'm not grateful? I am grateful even to a MTL ones. But wether I"m reading it or not is different story. I've made my point clear on what I dislike. I'm not hating for the sake of hate. Once again I say it's matter of style and personal preference. Feel free to disagree on my point. |
