Recap is basically a summary. Dunno about 'leftover'.
"At some point, I stopped hoping."

A lot of people use 'leftover' to refer to two-cour shows that continue on into the next season.

In a particular season, a "leftover" anime is one that began airing from the previous season. For example in Winter 2017, 3-gatsu would be considered a leftover anime since it started airing in Autumn 2016. So basically two-cour shows.

joe_g7 explained recap well. CheekyKunt's explanation is the most correct one so far for "left over". It's an anime series that started before the current season. If you go for example in the "seasonal anime" section of this website, among anime airing during spring, you have the anime that started in spring (tv (new) in the seasonal anime ), and then you have "leftovers" (TV (continuing) ) of the previous seasons, that started earlier than spring but aren't finished yet.
So it can be 2 cours, or even more, obviously.

If you know at least some basic English, you can easily analyze and interpret the Stuff for yourself.
"Leftover" is what is "left over". So it would be logical to assume that it describes something that still remains. What that is depends on the Context.

The other is a bit more difficult, because the second Part "-cap" is a shortened Form that is derived from "capitulum", which means Chapter.
But "re-" still implies something that is "re"peated, so you get to see Things you've already watched again in a Recap.

Recaps episodes made up of bits and pieces of previous episodes because those anime creators are too damn lazy to make an actual episode. They don't just do this in anime. The also do it some tv shows as well. Usually in some tv shows it will be a whole episode where the characters are remembering shit that happened and they show scenes from an earlier episodes. For example a character could say hey do you remember the first time we met and they will show bits from the first episode and another character could say do you remember the time I got sick and they show bits and pieces from some other episode and so on. Reality shows also do this as well. The cast of "My Vagina is fucken clown" IE "18 and counting" the family members will sit down on a couch answer fan mail and show clips form previous episodes.

It's just blood shed, bang was whole episode.
I felt sorry for the first family to be eliminated. The young boy just died a horrific death. The girl when she was calling for her mother to see her stranded in a lake of blood, as well as the boy and son, just as the father tried to know whether his wife is alive or not ; for the sake of his son.
The anime overall is the master of the season - I guess - .
