| There are STILL alot of rumors about Tokyo Ghoul season 3 but there is not even a sneak peek on the table. There was heavy critism about Tokyo Goul season 2 because it deviated from the manga in extreme sense that's why they didn't (atleast I think so) continue making the anime series. Any thoughts? |

What critisim in S2 ending? Isn't that just pure fujobait? You know what... I'm thinking if one studio dares to make another adaptation of TG. I'm sure that studio ain't making anymore adaptation in the future. |
| don't expect a season 3 to come before a remake, could get some OVA's, although i don't think it's very likely they kind of wrote themselves into a corner with season 2, not just by diverging heavily from the manga, nor by the bad reception the season had, but also due to the lack of good possibilities to continue the story if we ever get to see a full new season of TG i expect it to be a complete remake, or at least a remake of season 2 oh plus the general lack of sequels in anime, most studio's don't finish the last part of the story to "force" people to buy the original material |

| The fact they strayed so far from the manga is making me have second thoughts about season 3, only reason TG got a seven from me was for Juuzou. Otherwise it was too edgy for me. |

| I think they said they are working on a season 3 somewhere, but that was awhile ago. They even specified that the third season will focus more on Touka instead of the reg MC. |

| I've seen a couple of webpages saying it's in the works and will be airing next year. What I read that was funny is that it's going to be as close to the original source as it can. |
