You literally brought up a 10:1 ratio of male:female fans. How the hell can you possibly defend that? |

As if no one has a right to like their own things and anyone who dares dislike a popular, well liked anime automatically has shit taste. I mean come the fuck on. | Well, I always think that anime reviewers who just write pure hate reviews are masochist, that's why I stopped doing any reviews (Don't judge an anime/movie by its reviews). In general, most reviews are useless, because they're either pure love or pure hate (i.e. this). Anime fans that ruin the image of anime are also annoying. Heaven forbid it becomes popular /sarcasm. -The people who immediately write off an anime as "edgy try-hard garbage" or "fujoshi trash." -People who claim an anime is a rip off of something else, when usually the only similarity is that they're within the same genre. -Elitist/casual/weeb hunters. -People that constantly misuse the term elitist. -People that state that an anime is good only because it's not an ecchi or harem. -Those that take shipping so seriously that will they send threats to the creator, insult others that prefer a different ship, dislike a character only because s/he's "in the way" of their ship, say an anime is crap just because their ship didn't become canon. -Kinda the same as above but replace ship with waifu/husbando. -Those that automatically write off anyone that dislikes an anime that's popular as a "hater." Likewise, those that act like it's somehow lame to like popular series. -Those that act like all new anime is bad. Likewise, those that act like all old anime is bad or refuse to watch it only because it's old. There's some other stuff that I tend to see that annoys me as well, but I'll stop because this post has gotten too long. |

| When the community gets blown by low quality things (SAO, Danmachi, Mahouka, Re:Zero, etc.) but they don't watch true quality things (example Mushishi or Monster). Sometimes they can balance things (SnK, OPM and BokuDake were nice hyped). I don't hate the fact it just makes me a little disapointed. Its like in the music world were the majority of the hits are terrible and repetitive songs, the same with anime :/ |
