Or WSJ w/e. Why rush or axe this series?! Have they gone mad cuz Bleach still sells more than most of the current WSJ titles without a fucking anime.

Dont even give me this ranking bs cuz bleach was at the bottom for a long time. I'm not here to discuss that its getting axed but I want to know why they did it....

good job u guys ruined my fav manga of all time

I'm pretty sure Shueisha aren't the ones writing/drawing this manga.

I also want to know why they ended the anime and don't want anyone else to have the rights.
Or why it suddenly got no merch anymore even thou it was selling tons.
Or why they tagged it as a gag manga.

I doubt kubo intended it to be like this

No, shueisha is to blame, they ended bleach anime for whatever reason and won't let tv tokyo continue it.

I doubt that Bleach been axed by Shueiisha so all I could think of is that Bleach premature finale is all Kubo decision.

Bleach is like the most conveniont money maker Shuueisha could ask for, they barely push it or made advertisement for.it and yet it muster even bigger sales than the so called Shonen Jump hot manga like Shokugeki no Souma.

Iirc, the series that they axed is the one that barely break or less than 200k+ sales with low ranking and Bleach is not one of them.

I know how you feeling. For some, they don't like this title, they don't give a shit. But also for some, they think that this is the best manga they've ever read and their favorite manga ... that's including me. I'm sad. So so fuckin' sad. But man what can I do... Is there anything we can do? I don't know if there's any, because well then again what can I do, even when I write it down here it's not meant for 'something to change' but more like to express my feelings so I don't depress myself with me being the only one knowing it. Thought if I share it here, in forum, with you guys, I can ease my mind a bit. I know this probably won't fuckin' reach Kubo, Shueisha or whoever.

Majority of Pierrot dedicated to Naruto fillers.
If you see that my post is exactly 1 month old (or more) from when it was posted... Don't waste your time, especially when you want to reply with something petty & insignificant. Assume that I've moved on (because I have).

Agreed, its not axing, its mercy killing.

Bleach should have ended after SS arc when it was in its prime or after showdown with Aizen when it was still at least bearable.
Now its nothing more that sad parody of itself.

No, it shouldn't have ended in neither of those occasions. There was still a lot to be told. Kubo simply fucked up, that's all. The Fullbring arc was a waste of chapters, and the final arc has been nothing but pointless fights instead of proper storytelling and character development.

If Bleach is where it stands nowadays with no anime and a premature ending it's all on Kubo and his inability to write, nothing more.

i'm not sure where you got your numbers but shokugeki no souma vol17 was able to sell more volumes than bleach vol71(!)...
they don't axe bleach because it still has parts of it's fanbase left and sells 400-450k volumes in the first week. if they would just look at the rankings bleach would have been axed years ago since it's always at the bottom

The Bleach anime did not end for no reason. Following the Aizen saga the TV ratings dropped a ton and so it was cancelled.

The same thing happened with the manga sales, they dropped significantly after Aizen.

Considering that the manga has only continued to do worse and the series is ranked near the bottom in WSJ it would not be that surprising if there wasn't an anime sequel.

i don't know why people blame sueisha... they have no condition to axe this series.. if they have, they already have the reason for years ( bleach already on bottom like for 4 years already... yes the sales is declining, but still much better than most wsj titles currently published) and yet they keep bleach publishing... if anything, i bet it was kubo....

I mean, it certainly could be a possibility that this is Kubo's doing and not Shueisha's. He's been working on the series for 15 years now, and could just be burnt out. But then you have to wonder if that's really the case, why? There's still so many things we need to see, things that Kubo clearly set up, yet we're not going to see them. The series is going to end with several unanswered questions, and unless the anime comes back and expands on things we never got to see, we're never going to know the answers.

Add on top of that Kubo said at the beginning of the arc in an interview that this would be the longest arc of the series. Well as it stands right now, it is not the longest arc. The Arrancar arc is still longer by at least a few volumes worth of chapters.

So unless Kubo comes out and says that this was his decision, for whatever reason, majority of people are going to assume the higher ups at Shounen Jump are rushing him. Why would they be rushing him? There's honestly no telling at this point. Even though the sales aren't what they used to be, it still outsells over half the magazine. So it's not a money issue. Chances are we're never going to know unless Kubo himself comes out and says something. I'm hoping he does, but it's definitely not a guarantee he will.

Ye, many things were not resolved back then, but they aint now either.
Not to mention kubo magic lol
But at least bleach was good back then, its a shame that such good series have fallen so low.

^ This.

People really are way to eager to go with the "Jump axed it" train without even considering that maybe it is Kubo's decision. It just doesn't make sense that Jump would axe a manga that guarantee them at least 1 mil copies a year...
