| It's so messed up how sex between them is meaningless but a kiss would mean everything. Something is just so heartwrenching about his position. You'd think at first, how could it possibly be that bad? He gets to have sex with her basically whenever. But it's like leading someone on, except taken to an extreme. Tantalizing him with what is supposed to be the pinnacle of romance, but turning around and telling him that means nothing. But of course this is only one side of the story, her position isn't so great either. I don't know who to blame, but this just gives a feeling of hopelessness and despair toward love in general. And they're so young, they should be seeing all of this through rose-colored glasses. It's too early for harsh realities. . . |
