| Tales of the Abyss. It took FOREVER. I think because in the beginning, I hated nearly everything about it and most of that hatred stems from the main character being the most spectacular douche I've ever seen. Plus I did not understand the magic/world. They kept talking about fonons and hyperresonances as if it were common knowledge and I'm like WTF. I gave it a random second chance and whoa, character development happened. People stopped being jerks. The story picked up. I spent the last few hours cuddled up in a blanket and reacting to everything like, "Aw snap!" or more commonly *Cries like a girl* Great game, great story and one of my favorites now. |
