| LOL. There's so many flashbacks in the New Wave its fine to read just that, but it's definitely necessary. Think of it as a prequel and read it. It'll brings a lot more meaning to the beginning of the series and help you understand more about Shioon, Goomoonryong, and the Murim. |

| To be completely honest it almost didn't matter if you read the first one up to the latest 4 or 5 chapters. But for the story that's going on now you should read the first series to get a better feel for what's going on. |
