An apparent leak reveals the possibility of a new series of sublime if abstruse parody anime Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, which would bring the successful franchise up to its third season. The particular board this rumour emanates from is apparently inhabited by at least one industry insider, whose numerous leaks have mostly proven correct. Thus observers are happy to consider the probability of this rumour being true to be quite high. | But ask yourself this question... what source material would they use for a 26 episode series. There's barely enough source material for a 12 episode series, so I'll be happy to see this series run for 12 episodes and if it's well received by the Japanese audience then we'd get another season (like Sekirei). ^_^ |

| Assuming they’ll stick with the original, the story until book 5 is already more than enough for 12 episode series. So far the arcs are... - Himari - Shizuku (+ Rizlet & Rinko’s ribbon) - Noihara (Ageha & Sasa part 1) - Kuesu (+ mountain study tour & Rinko’s dream) - Loli Himari (Ageha & Sasa part 2) - 3 evil youkai (the newest arc) I think, 12 episodes would fit until the Noihara arc with fillers, or until Kuesu’s arc. No leak on what studio will get it yet ? Hoping for Deen and Nishida Asako :D |
| Just remembered something. I heard that some sites and developer might extend the date and already started posting April fool jokes several days earlier. So maybe we should wait until April 2nd to start getting excited about anything. |

Just imagine Rinko voiced by Rie, my merciful God, it would be something beyond horrible. Ugh. |

| Ya, I just read the confirmation this morning from ANN. I really hope they do a good job with this. A short 12 episode anime following the manga would be perfect. Then they can add a second season when the manga gets more content. |

| I think summer would be TBS Anime Festa on June. That's when they will do the press release for the next anime productions, including Himari and Kampfer. So the fastest would be... autumn season ? |
