DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- HAHAHAHAHA OH WOW because Miyata added a corkscrew to his counter, I'm going to overlook the fact that Miyata has broken ribs and almost has no gas left in the tank. you guys should do the same too. tsk, there wasn't even that much drama in this chapter. it was entirely Morikawa asking his readers to suspend their disbelief. at least this lengthy fight is finally over and we can move on to the next one. |

| Well, I did say using momentum from the last down to win would be okay with me. Still a very dissappointing climax. But, on the plus side, it's over. Bring out the Takamura buns and let's have a Duckbeque! Am I the only one who think that this is the most biased ref in the entire series. I mean, Miyata was falling over trying to just throw punches earlier (but is fine according to the ref), and the instant RBJ goes down, he gets declared the loser. Maybe the foreign-boxer bias swung a little more Miyata's way this time. |

| Normally I don't post here, but I just had to vent my frustration somehow... I don't think even the biggest Miyata fanboy in the world could ignore the stupidity and bias of this fight, I can't believe he actually won, ruined so much for me :( |
| Hmmm, to me it felt like Miyata should have lost there. The dude lost his speed and agility and on top of that busted ribs and wasn't even able to rely on his right anymore. I dunno, to me it seemed like the manga was hyping up Randy to be able to take on Ricardo so when he lost to Miyata. That was a big surprise. |
| The problem isn't that he found the power to give two punches with a right arm that should give him too much pain to use, we saw people using their spirit to overcome things before in the manga, the real problem is that if he had the ability to overcome the pain because he saw hope from realizing a predictable left then why couldn't he overcome the broken rips pain when he was in a much better condition and had the same chance when Randy went for a few more body blows to confirm Ichiro had broken rips? He threw it but the pain made him miss and now after getting even more beat-up the pain wasn't enough to stop him? |

| I had hoped Randy would win, how disappointing. I don't mind Ippo's obsession with Miyata, but to go so far to say punching someone in the stomach who's on weight control is foul... 'sighhhh' |
| Yeah, one of the worst fights in this manga and such bs. I really wanted Miyata to get his ass kicked and someone to knock the smug off his face. He's such an arrogant asshole, definitely needs to brought down a peg or two. If I didn't really enjoy this manga this bs would probably be enough for me to drop it but my respect for this author has dropped quite a bit with this ass pull. Before this chapter I would rate this manga around a 8-9 easy but now giving it a 7 would be generous. |

| The fight was good but something was out of place. Randy is a good boxer, I was cheering for him at a certain point, I don't know why, to be honest. I hope Randy doesn't vanish, I want him to appear again. |
