| Pretty good first impressions. Action, Fantasy, Supernatural, magic, witches, comedy and maybe some romance? Although MAL doesn't specifically tag this anime for the last 4 i'm already all hands, and add some romance especially like the one Kagari and Takamiya have rn, I'm invested. The plot seems wild af. Its like slightly comedic with how the characters interact, like Kagari calling Takamiya different names and the mass bunny army body piling them. Then there's some pretty serious scenes like the action e.g. Kagari stopping all the blades from reaching Takamiya was a great scene. I think the ED is a good representative, the ED has cute chibi characters singing this catchy tune with funny lyrics while they are attached to various torture mechanisms. The visuals were great, CGI bunny army was actually very smooth and detailed. Didn't look weird or janky compared to some CGI i've seen in animes that have come out in the past 3 years. The OST and SFX were also very good. For a show released in 2014 i was kinda surprised how good some of the SFX were in this ep alone. All in all the plot itself of witches, magic, Kagari's mission with Takamiya seem interesting. Characters were pretty expressive for ep1 but really i'll call it Kagari best girl. |
