| Just powered through a several series after what feels like forever, without anime. (I feel like a total crack addict who just bailed on rehab. Major withdraw.) So I'm looking for some good dubbed anime. Romantic comedy to be specific. I don't mind if there's other genres mixed in there just that its a romantic comedy. Please try and exclude anything with comedy killing drama (a little drama is fine I'd just prefer it be on the D/L.) from your recommendations. Two examples of a recommendation I would slap you for: School Days, Yosuga No Sora. *If you wanna express your own hatred for either of those here than go for it. Just try and recommend something first and don't clutter up this thread with hatred. If you'd like feel free to reccommend a couple anime that stray from these genres but only after you've listed 1 or more good romantic comedies. Also I'd prefer titles with significant or intense objectionable content ratings (ANN OC Ratings) and more recent series (I'd like to see some shows release in the last few years.) just because. Most recently I've watched: A certain Magical Index (Episode 1-24) A Certain Scientific Railgun (Episode 1-24) B Gata H Kei Demon King Daimao Kore Wa Zombie desu-ka? Mirai Nikki Haganai (Season 1) Heavens Lost Property High School DXD Steins Gate Not all of those are romantic comedy but I did enjoy all of those quite a lot. heavens lost property I only really watched a bit of and cant take the romance seriously since the main character spends most of the time in chibi mode and/or wearing a pare of panties on his head. But it is pretty funny. Mirai Nikki was a stretch for me cause the whole psycho-bitch girlfriend thing made it really tough for me to like her a lot of times. Thanks for any recommendations you can give me. also if anyone knows where I can see exactly what FUNimation [Licenced] anime are dubbed without going through the entire list trying all of them I'd really appreciate that info. |

Golden Boy, is better in english as well. Really it all comes down to preference. normally I like the original voices better but right now I'm not in the mood to read. I want to watch and listen. I thought I mentioned that. (I might be wrong I wrote a lot. cant expect me to remember everything.) and shame on you for making me explain myself without even recommending an anime. |

A lot of people like doing other things while they're watching too, and if they have to look away during subbed, they miss stuff since you have to be watching 100% of the time. I won't judge. Also, if you're going to watch Clannad, you NEED to watch After Story as well. Even if you didn't like the first season as much. After Story is where a crap ton of the good stuff is at. |

I did just finish Sankarea, which was pretty good. Still looking for recommendations. I been flying through good shows lately. |

It's funny actually I just had a look at Clannad, and realized, I've already seen like 17 episodes. Apparently I've been confusing Clannad, with Kanon, and thought this whole time that Clannad was that one show I now realize I forgot the name of, about the art teacher who falls in love with one of his students or something. (I never even finished the first episode.) Now I don't think I've ever seen Kanon. |

| Eh well I'm probably gonna be the only one to say this, but I really liked the Kare Kano dub. There's also My Bride is a Mermaid and Spice and Wolf. I don't know if Kimi ni Todoke has a dub, but go ahead and give it a shot anyway. |

I do eventually plan to watch My Bride Is A Mermaid, but it's a little to clean for me. I've already finished NHK great show. I've seen a lot of durarara and plan to go back and finish it someday same with baccano. Soul eater is pretty crazy and i can see why its so popular but its not really my style. I'm thinking Samurai Girls, although ANN says it's not romance, it does say it's harem and I do enjoy harem. If you know anymore please do tell. |
