Okay , many anime shows during the last few years ruined the anime reputation...
So , to ask questions like (is FMAB the greatest ? , Is Naruto the greatest ? Is One Piece the greatest ? Etc.) are nothing but nonsense.
Shows like FMAB and the other legend ones will stay the greatest no matter what , okay ? And to hell with this new era of sexual comedy and craziness

Nah, this was mediocre, almost felt like I wasted my time watching this crap, I would rather waste my time watching something else but I stayed till the end to see the "hype" surrounding this mediocre anime and yeah, I was disappointed.

What defines a good story great is that even after many years people still Talk about It ... Well thats exactly what happen to FMA , is a classic

Also is very well writen and characters are so human, they are in the scale.of greys instead of just being good or bad ... And i love that. Also they DELIVER the best ending ever, very safisfing

I've yet to finish it and I can already say that it is one of the best animes out there but not the best one imo. For now, Hunter x Hunter (2011) is currently the best anime of all time for me. Who knows? Maybe I'll change my mind after I finish the whole series.

For me, attack on titan's final season will probably make the series my favourite anime by overtaking fma:b (which been my favourite anime for a long time). fullmetal alchemist: brotherhood is a masterpiece of a series but attack on titan is just... better.. like i know i'll get hate for this but its my opinion fr.

either way if u ask anyone who has watched fma:b how they would rank it, the overwhelming majority ranks it in their top 5 so theres no denying that fma:b is one of the greatest animes of all time.

I think it is based on quality and popularity of the show. Everyone's gonna have different opinions and there are always gonna be people who will disagree no matter what, but you can't deny that this anime was amazing. People tend to get their favorite confused with being the best. For example my favorite of all time is Ouran Highschool Host Club but would I say it's a better anime than FMAB? Absolutely not.

nah im on ep 56 almost close to the end and whats great abt this anime is the mysteries around everything it doesn't depends on for example fight scenes and dramatic scenes, imo its just like pandora hearts, these two depend on how dark the story is, and the fight scenes in this anime if i would rate it it would be 5/10 definitely not the best anime

Edit: I've finished watching it and I'll say it is indeed one of the best anime of all time, but still it is not the best anime of all time. Hunter x Hunter (2011) still stands out to be the best anime of all time for me, in my humble opinion. But I really do have to say FMA:B comes in a close second.

FMAB is one of the most mediocre story line I've ever seen . Why this is so high rated. It got some of the most disappointing villains I've seen except some, father is sooo bad and uninteresting final villain. A shounen anime should put interesting(not bland like father) and well written villains or else the story will feel boring and uninteresting too. Intensity in the story is very much required in a battle shounen to make it a good battle shounen which was not there in FMAB at all. Let's take example of Hxh even though some parts in the story was dragged and boring they were still able to keep it interesting and investing at the end of some Arcs with the help of some of the most interesting and well written antagonists in shounen. Overall story in FMAB was dull. If we try to make a best episodes in anime list then I m pretty sure there won't be any FMAB episode even though this mediocre story line is most highly rated anime.

imo 3-gatsu no lion is the best with hunter x hunter right behind.

But I can see why many regard FMA:B as the best since its kind of one those "this is anime" titles. Every other media has it too. If you want to explain Tv series or movies to someone you slap a specific thing in their face. For "TV series"(i know very broad) it might be breaking bad and for anime it just happens to be FMA:B.
