| I went Animate (anime-goods-shop) Sat.24 and watched it but, I could't watch and listen well... mobile-phone's show was broadcasted yet, and PC-web's show will be broadcast tomorrow Mon.26 ,so i will watch again by that though,I'm anxious about "their" cyber-terro attack |
| Yay! The first episode is out! \o/ The anime looks a lot better than I expected. Like some people commented on the LJ community, the coloring is pretty similar to Himaruya's style, which is good thing. The animation was nice too. World Reunion So far I liked all the voices, almost all quite close to what I've thought while reading the manga. Russia's is more adorable than I've imagined, but it fits him well (because it's still creepy XD). China's a bit to girly, but all the "aru"s were done very well, so it's ok for me XD My fav line definitely is... PASTAAAAA~~!!! (I'm amazed how this line ALWAYS makes me laugh XD) And then we start with the first strips of the manga... nice cliffhanger we got with the mysterious box, right? (I wonder what's inside it) XD Chibitalia Arc Granpa Rome looks HOT. They kept him young even in the Chibitalia arc, but I can't complain too much XD Ah... and Chibitalia... WHAT A CUTE VOICE! No wonder why everyone thought you were a girl XD All the chibi nations look adorable. Maybe HRE's voice is a bit too mature for him, but still fits him. I'll have to see more of him to get a more accurate opinion. Ending (possible opening in the next episodes?) Sooooooooo colorful. The song is very "Hetalia" XD, especially with Italy singing it (it was he, wasn't it?). I liked it. It fits well the mood of the show. --- *waiting for the subs* (sorry for the huge post) |

| Errmm... I didn't care for America, Japan, or Russia's voices so far. Esp Russia. America is the only one that has spoken at length though. I thought Germany was really good though. :) |

Most people seem to think Yao's voice is too girly, but I think it's PERFECT *china fangirl* ahhh five minutes of delicious, nation-y goodness. And Vash, oh lord I love you. Bring out your guns an' stuff. So I can love you more. |

| well, knowing Hiroki-san (Japan's seiyuu), his voice can go from very mature to ridiculously high pitched (Kenji from School Rumble and Eiji from Prince of Tennis, lolwut? XD), so i'm sure we will see that side of Kiku as well :P |

Since the episode was less than 5 minutes if you include the ended I'm disappointed that they split it into 3 partsxD (the world conference, WWI, and chibitalia)~ I assume this would make it almost incoherent to people who have not read the mangaxD Would have been nice if it focused completely on the WWI arc to establish the plot... but... | xD I haven't read much of the manga but the episode was sooo cute! I love how everyone acts, I was definitely LOLing throughout it. I just wish it was longer then like 3 minutes... My favorite part has to be when America talks about building the giant hero xDDD and then Japan comes in with his super serious stereotype voice and Switzerland cuts him off. LOL I think this will be a good series, I need a laugh every now and then. -rewatches- |

| Well, I have no expectations as to voices since I haven't read it. I do wish the quality were better though. I like how Italy says he loves to draw and I think Italy is the cutest as Chibi; I think that the conference part was the funniest, since I was just a tiny bit confused by some of the Chibitalia historical references. maybe the 3 part opener is just to introduce 3 story lines (loosely defined)? |
