Help Need a New Serious/Mature Anime to Watch

Hi there,
I have been watching Anime for years now, and I am looking to find a really good serious series/movie to watch (no comedy pls). Below is the list of shows I have seen and *** the ones I really enjoyed. Hopefully someone can help. Thx!

Seeing as you liked Claymore and Hellsing you might also enjoy Basilisk and Shigurui.

Shigurui is a bit different than most anime so I'm not sure how you'll react to it.

Also, I second Berserk and Gungrave.

shiki,
though, it being anime some scenes are randomly goofy and cliched, and without them could be the best anime ever made? and the goofy hairstyles may put you off, but its more than that, and has lots of cliff hangers

paranoia agent is great but sometimes easy to get bored.

angel cop is my favorite anime, it was made in the time of the goofy characters, (late 80's/early 90's) but really overlooked, fyi, the dub has different setting to sub, if you are into the neo nazism thing, sub, otherwise dub is preferable. still really good, lots of unnecessary swears, and violence, but not cliched which is the main thing.
