Anime to make me cry

So I recently watched Angel Beats, tanked it until the end but then started crying buckets. Reminded me of how good Clannad was to me and how it hit me when I first watched it. Anyways, i updated my list (pretty sure I missed a lot), and would love to find a pretty depressing anime but maybe with a light hearted ending? I like romance in these situations, and the reason Angel Beats and Clannad really hit me were the crazy, funny, and random group of characters they had. Anyways thanks!

I definitely recommend 'Bokura Ga Ita' It brought me to tears. But you have to keep reading the manga to really get the tears going. It's so heartbreakingly amazing.

Gosick - the ending is the drama/sad part but first half is pretty boring excluding maybe first 3 episodes?
seconding Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann - it's mecha anime , definetly worth giving a shot. I swear it'll make you cry in the end!

man... start reading Visual Novels...! Clannad and Angel Beats are Key productions and the anime are based on the Visual Novels (WHICH ARE EVEN BETTER)
so besides downloading and reading Clannad I suggest also looking for
G-Senjou no Maou (idk if I was ever closer to cry than at this ending/after Clannad ofc)

edit: sorry I'm a dumbass... Angel Beats WILL have a novel soon, but it doesn't now. Air is another anime/vn done by Key btw
