| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Given the title "The Seven Days of Fire" and the fact that it opens with a bombing, I though this episode would be about the city experiencing a crisis of wildly increased terrorist activity, but it turned out to be a silly comedy episode instead. This was one of the funnier episodes that I can recall (I haven't been too thrilled with Patlabor's performance as a pure comedy) but I can't help but be kind of disappointed that it wasn't what I was expecting. I hope the whole rest of the OVA isn't all silly episodes. It risks losing the balance that worked pretty well in the TV series. |

| Absolutely hilarious and reminded me of one Urusei Yatsura bathhouse episode. They also censored the private parts with black circles...and then those black circles came flying lmao. I hope other episodes are also standalone comedies. |

| As a connoisseur of extravagant nude bath fight scenes (Zatoichi Goes to the Fire Festival (1970) anyone??) this episode is indeed an absolute banger. Laughed out loud at so many moments and the twist ending was phenomenal. Could not love it anymore! |
