| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Hard work surpasses geniusses, eh? My my, that Rock Lee reminds me of Jackie Chan. And the drawing of this character seems totally different from other Naruto characters. Not surprising that Sakura-chan thought him TOO UNIQUE for her xD She dodged those little sweet hearts just like Neo dodged bullets in Matrix! So, so, a turtle can be a ninja teacher too? (c) loool And not only Naruto and co "don't know how to react because of all these weird things" - the viewer doesn't know too! And Uchiha is acting as the leader of the three at the end of the ep. This surely gets interesting ^___^ |

| Must have been the funniest show of the first season, because Rock Lee took the main role in this episode with some really fun stuff. He could be a possible favorite character in the future. :D |

| charging head on with a direct attack, bold strategy lets see how it works out...oh wait, it never works out. you would think naruto would have learned by now but i guess not. and even sasuke did the same exact thing... i know i'm being too critical of this (typical shounen stuff), but c'mon they're supposed to be NINJAS lol |

All the first part of Naruto is used to show the hardships they face while becoming true ninjas. This was specially noticeable in the Land of Waves Arc, with the whole thing of Naruto overcoming his fear of Zabuza. And they still have a long way to go, so it's only natural they make this kind of mistake from time to time. |

| Rock Lee loves Sakura, how adorable. Sasuke got his butt handed to him. That turtle was hilerious and so was the bond with Rock Lee & Guy Sensei. I think hard work is better than natural talent. |
| Rewatching! Rock Lee blowing kisses at Sakura and that whole scene made me laugh so hard, it is definatly one of the funniest scenes in the original Naruto! |

| i think i enjoyed a bit too much sasuke getting his ass beaten. <3 you know, i thought this first series would be pretty boring, but all the comedy animated makes the episodes really light and fun to watch. |

| Rock Lee and Guy Sensei are possibly two of the funniest anime characters I've seen so far 😂 I love how silly they are. I also really want to see how good Guy is against Kakashi since he said he's better than him. I like that Sasuke has many rivals now, but I really hope Naruto will be taken seriously by the end of this arc. I really enjoyed this episode. |
